Dude, I meant nothing by it, I was trying to play the game!

Sometimes forums and SMS just aren't worth it, too easily taken out of context
Banter smile

But it is hard to tell on here sometimes.

Wonderful cars I'm sure but a bit cringey on the eye.
It looked a little more used when I photographed it beside my own car after the N24smile...

Hate the Vauxhall Mokka. Too tall, too narrow and ultimately pointless. They sell by the buck load though, the British car buying public are very strange.

Hate the Nissan Qashqoi or whatever it's called. Just plane ugly, and stupid headlights.

Loved the Fiat Coupe from the 90s, always loved the Citroen C6 too.

The three series compact. I have one and think it looks fine, even good looking. Much better than the 1er that succeeded it. Here's the ad picture when I bought it.

I also really love the Renault Avantime, and the E65 7 series. Both have matured very well.

You're just trolling now. I don't believe anybody likes those things. Why? What's the point of it..
It's big, chunky, sleek and aggressive looking, there doesn't need to be a point to it!

Love the Alfa Romeo SZ and RZ, not universally popular.
Oh yes, most definately, I absolutely love those.
Brutal looking things; I'm with you two, they are stunning.

Yep, I too love the ugly Alfas, the SZ and the 75

I'd throw the Maserati Shamal in to the mix too. Not as "pretty" as the later 3000GT or GranTurismo coupes, but so much more appealing to my eyes

I honestly really hate these things, I don't know why. I just think they are so damn ugly but everyone will buy one "Cos BMW m8". When they first came out everyone seemed to be of the same opinion, now I get flamed for calling out that gopping face and saggy side lines.

I hate them too, look like they've been in a crash that bent the chassis rails. The current version is even worse.

How can something be both chunky and sleek?

I'd probably use words like 'blobby' and 'misshapen' myself! hehe

Maybe less marmite and more rotten herring?

Alfa 75! Far from pretty and got slated for its styling which you had to look beyond.....I had 2 when they were current, Twin Spark then 3.0. Wish I still had them...

Nissan Juke - love them!

I remember when the very first official shots were shown, I knew straight away I liked it. Like nothing else and have a good stance from certain angles.
I like a lot of the details.
I mean....they are 'ugly' in some ways....but I just think they're excellent!
I've since driven a couple and they aren't anything at all special to drive....but I still desire one, even though they are everywhere now.

I also like all iterations of the 1 series, the Citroen C4 Cactus and the BMW X6.

The Mini GP got slated for its looks when it was released, I think it looks great personally (though I'm on my second)

Oh yes, really like them, plus the 309Gti, Alfa SZ and the Alfa junior Zagato plus the 1-series coupe ( esp the 1M )

LOVE
In 2000 I had a Alfa Romeo 166, much to the amusement of my colleagues. The company I was working for at the time seemed to have a BMW E46 Coupe culture/fetish. I loved this car... (Not the actual photo). In hindsight it did have ridiculously small headlights... but I think the design still looks fresh even 16 years later, I note the Italian police still use them.

Current surprising 'Like'
I have always despised the Renault Megane... I think its the name, it reminds me of an ugly dog my mate had called Megan. My brother had an old Megane that used to switch its immobiliser on randomly after 70mph. But I had this as a hire car recently... I was impressed by the equipment levels. this was a special 'Bose' edition, so it had a very loud sound system, which was rather good.. I think it looks like a stag beetle... I feel bad liking it..

HATE
Sorry Nissan Juke fans. It looks like a car which has caught a disfiguring disease. I was once presented with one by Avis at Bordeaux Airport, I initially refused to take it, citing its ugliness, I eventually had to take it as there was nothing else. It didn't drive too badly.

Was driven by Chris Harris and Patrick Simon at the 2010 Nurburgring 24. Completely stock apart from regulatory wheels, brakes and safety gear. Came 13th I think which was good for a standard car. It was properly beaten up with scuffs and dents all oversmile..
