It's a particularly abhorrent thing to look at for sure, perhaps no more so than my neighbours child though it has to be said.
I have however been waiting to meet the guy that orders a car like this with interest, due to my weak stomach though I tend to try and avoid turning left out of my house where it usually resides. I guess the question is is it BMWs fault that people want to buy a stupidly powerful bus with no space inside and then put stripes all over it and give them a shed load of money for doing so? Or in the case of this M2 pay them a bunch of cash for silly bits of carbon and stripes. They're all at it. A lot of people actually pay money to read the daily mail.

Meh.
The cars have crap suspension, so whats another problem. So it goes like crap, sounds like crap, and now it looks like crap too.
3 outta 3 bmw. Nice one.
I'm interested to hearing your views on the suspension? How did you find it crap? Goes like crap? It's well over 300bhp and isn't a slouch..... The cars have crap suspension, so whats another problem. So it goes like crap, sounds like crap, and now it looks like crap too.
3 outta 3 bmw. Nice one.
The 6 cylinder in these sounds better, in my opinion, than the one in the M4 but sound is subjective. Looks.... I quite like the standard car but all these trinkets do make it a bit ott.
Be good to hear why you found the suspension crap and do you really think it goes like crap, it'll easily be quicker than 99% of the cars out there.

I quite like it, and one of the Franchittis seems to agree, but your average bloke off PH may know better ?

Wow. If the M BMWs sound and go like "crap" and have "crap" suspension, where does that leave 99% of other cars on the road? The cars have crap suspension, so whats another problem. So it goes like crap, sounds like crap, and now it looks like crap too.

And what the hell does it take to be "ok", "good", "great", or "outstanding"?

Depends on your perspective really Ross. If big_rob drives a 458 at 10/10ths regularly, the BMW's kinematics, noise, looks and performance may appear crap.

But even then, a 458 driver wouldn't see it as being crap. They'd see it has been disappointing after a 458, but not crap. Unless they were being raw argumentative, petty or a troll.I quite like it, and one of the Franchittis seems to agree, but your average bloke off PH may know better ?
