With M3 and 335d the cars are totally different.

But take two identical cars, both with 3.0l c320bhp Engines, both with the same bearly detectable ZF gearbox/suspension/etc, I don't believe that one would be great whilst the other would be dreadful (oil prejudice aside).
Fair point.

Have you tried having a look on the C63 forum(s) mate? Cars on there may be a little more than you want to spend but they'll most likely be looked aftered better as they're owned by enthusiasts. Hopefully you'll find the right car soon smile
Thanks mate! on it like a bonnet! smile

I'm not into Super-Saloons or Super-Estates. Passengers and luggage don't often enjoy being bounced around at high speed on concrete suspension.

You can usually get an estate car AND a decent sportscar for the same money, avoiding the inevitable compromise of a car which is trying to do everything at once.

Hi Andrew,

Good luck with the purchase, I too saw that car in the Link as I was after a C63 estate...it took a few months but I found one at a merc dealer, was on for 36k only compromise I had to make was it didn't have Dab..but it had done 14k miles ... Had it since Jan, love it!

Thanks for all the messages guys! I got it in the end smilesmile Not sure how you post an image at the moment, but it's Black and only done 3900 miles!!! It's like having a new car!! smile

so my summary so far:

The sound when you start it puts a huge smile on my face every time!

The amount of people that have commented on the sound to me!

The performance is incredible in Savage mode (Sport+)

The seats are awesome!

Did I mention the sound?

My kids love it!

Down side: I've already kerbed (slightly) the rear nearside wheel. Anyone recommend a good wheel specialist that deals with diamond cut wheels? Tempted to leave it for now as it's not that bad and only on the rim edge.

What leather treatment do people recommend? Was going to get Zymol unless there is better?

all the best,
Andrew

Congrats on the new car! biggrin I bet you're glad you went for it over the 535 just for the sound alone. That is some crazy low mileage for a car like that. Can't wait to see some pictures!

Welcome to the club. My wife came back with a huge smile after her first drive and now understands!

Try the 'upload an image (beta)' link above.
