Any sleepers (real ones) for sale?

Totally agree, and for the same reason I'd call my old 9000 only a kind of sleeper the Legnum is the same. Anyone who knows or cares knows what they are capable of, although not necessarily to the extent of Dai's. The Legnum VR4 is the Mitsubishi equivalent of a Legacy GTB, and by that count not even a halfway. In my opinion of course.
But there will be someone on later to say an RS2 or an Impreza Spec D is a sleeper as well...
Something like this on the other hand

At a pinch an E34 Touring with an M3 engine swap - some steel wheels and it's a winner.

How about something a bit more palatial? A genuine Turbo Technics converted E

Or if you want to go really left field an import Mitsubishi Airtrek which may or may not be hiding a 4g63 somewhere...

Or an Aristo twin turbo with Lexus GS300 badges, and a box of tissues on the rear shelf.
That passat looks immaculate. But there will be someone on later to say an RS2 or an Impreza Spec D is a sleeper as well...

Shame about the cage and buckets but move the tank and reinstate the stock interior and then definitely a sleeper.

Not for sale, but I think this is a perfect example of a sleeper. You'll know it when you see it:

Probably going to be told this isn't a sleeper. While it doesn't look st and slow, would anyone expect this to have 350bhp if you took the badges off? The pipes aren't even that shouty. Chuck some mud up the sides too

Has this been on yet? OK, a BMW, but a boggo E34 325i is not super dynamic. The bling wheels on this one give the game away - it should look more ordinary.

No, loads of people don't understand what a sleeper is.
"A sleeper (US English) or Q-car (British English) is a car that has high performance and an unassuming exterior.[1][2][3] Sleeper cars are so called because their exterior looks little or no different from a standard or economy-class car." All according to Wikipedia. What did I recommend? A car that looks no different than the rest of the range. Tell me again how I don't understand what a sleeper is.
