When I was working, my annual mileage went from a low of 32 thousand miles per year, to a high (For two years running) of 50 and 52 thousand miles per year consecutively on my `work' car, with my fun car doing between a further 3 to 5000 thousand miles per year.
The last work car was a diesel Passat bluemotion which averaged 58.6 mpg over 5 years, with the worst fuel consumption (full/heavy load + as fast as poss) being around 51 mpg, and the best (on one particular run to Scotland and back) of 62 mpg. These figures were obtained from actual fuel put into the tank, against actual miles covered, and were therefore dependent on the accuracy of the fuel station pumps, and the accuracy of the vehicles odometer. I don't really believe what trip computers tell me the car is doing.

I was doing >20k pa in a Saab 9-5 2.2 tid, they were 20k, hateful tedious miles, but averaged about 42mpg.

Due to a new job and shorter commute I'm now on about 8k pa and 24mpg from a Volvo V70 2.4T. It's no sports car but after the Saabs 120 clattery asthmatic horses, the Volvo makes me smile.

16k per year at 62mpg average. Bloody awesome.

Actually, that's a lie.

I do 8k per year at at 31 mpg, and where as the above figures would have my colleagues congratulating me on being savvy, my actual figures has them sucking air through their teeth.

Idiots hehe

Around 4k miles in the z4 at approx 31 mpg.
Around 7k miles in the fiesta at approx 45 mpg.

Both mpg figures as shown by the car, not worked out accurately.

About 25k a year at mid40's mpg BMW 325d (auto)

about 2k a year at mid 20's (on a run) from my 1987 TVR350i.
I have never really worked out what the TVR does when I am using it properly, at a guess very low teens

600-800km per day upto 6 days a week so very roughly about 100k miles. Usually 12-14mpg depending on route. My car is not a huge amount better but does a lot less miles!
