Find it amusing the number of people on here admitting to having annual mileages of less than 5000, yet on the leasing thread there are continually comments that "no one does just 5k a year" laugh

I hope I never have to belly-ache about MPG & miles per year.
I don't belly-ache. Somebody asked a question and I answered it, as did a large number of other posters on this thread.

Same, except for the fact im a student so I actually cant afford to drive a sub 20mpg car for my 25k per year....

Not everyone here has too much money so they do have to worry about it.

Diesel. 25,500 miles/year at a sneeze over 52mpg. Only had the car 4 and a bit months, so all projected estimates, but £2350/year in fuel at £1.06/litre.

What app is that?
It's called Road Trip by Darren Stone. There's a free version with a slightly more limited functionality. I think paid £2 for the full app. Very much worthwhile and simple to use.

12k miles pa @ 22mpg average, petrol. I bought it when petrol was 1.35/litre, expecting to average high-teens so it's actually turned out to be an economical choice! smile For me, it made sense to spend less on the car and more on the running costs.

No more than 10K miles.

Z4 Coupe 3.0 - Average 20 MPG, city driving and hooning primarily. 35+ if I do a trip to Glasgow to work.

Pretty much every car I've owned has been sub 30 with this usage except for a Puma and a Fabia vRS TDI and at the mileage I do it's not exactly an issue.
