Anybody else spot the broken McLaren on the South bound M40 this afternoon?

About 1000ft away from the wheel and driveshaft assembly?

Ouch.

Most importantly (assuming from the vantage point that you were somehow involved...) Everyone ok?

Fortunately I wasn't involved. That picture was tweeted by police who have stated there are no injuries.

I saw the recovery guy drag the wheel and suspension components back down the hard shoulder.

Carbon tub looks intact ?? Door opens normally
Suggests (as long as passengers were restrained) both should be ok.

Hopefully walked away - to thank strength of the car.

Facing wrong way on a wet (very cold) motorway, loss of traction and spin ??
