Time to try the oppositions new offering

Lets see how it sizes up

Warranty should be useful with the lights misting up etc after a whole 8 mile

I do like the look of the new Mustang, have to say.... paperbag

Even if the bonnet shutlines do look a bit wonky?

Shut lines are a bit pissed esp where metal meets plastic & it looks worse on the front with it being yellow & seeing the black rubber seal between

Interesting. cool

I keep threatening to go and look at one of these. V8 or 4-banger?

They get reasonable reviews (accepting they are more GT than racer) but the rear styling really puts me off.

I think that these are cracking looking cars and yellow really suits it. Lost count of the number of times I've been on the configurator 'building' one. I originally thought that the four pot turbo would be the one to have, give the traffic jams round where I live. Having driven a rather gutless V6 in the US, I think the V8 is the way forward.

blah lucky bastid

Yes, they're certainly a bargain (IMHO), and also a car that I'd contemplate as a daily driver.

Not sure of the yellow, but that's personal taste. smile Have fun cool

The football oriented Management at GM VX have missed a trick here by not pressing the General to make some RHD sports stuff for over here i.e Camaro and Vette.

Look how F**d are milking the new Stang in their marketing hype. (Mind you, I bet it doesn't have 4G wifi like the new Astra?)

GMVX could have easily had a head start on Ford who have just woken up to the possibilities. All down to money I suppose, but with petrol heading down to 90p a litre ...............???? Happy Days.

I've no plans to sell-up anytime soon, but I have to say the Mustang is the front runner for me from a replacement point of view. Really love it and very tempted. It's different, it's cool and it's not German!

Will be a few more years in the VXR8 yet though....

Went to look today.
Sadly all they had was a convertible to look at so came away undecided.
Looks lovely in yellow, good call.

Is it cool though? I mean, every young mum I work with is talking about how much they want one.

Not against Mustangs at all, but give me a brutal looking one from a few years ago. The new one has European market written all over it.
