Don't think the UK got the Gen5 GT
I don't think the UK got any of the turbo Legacys frown (apart from the dire diesel)
Imported turbo nutter ones are fairly common in gen3 and 4 guise, yet I only know of one Gen5 GT owner on another forum!

I think they are!

My nephew had a 325ti Compact, then he became a Dad so it was replaced by a 325i Sport Touring:-

The Compact in the photo is mine!

I drove his Touring last week, and it felt just as good as my Compact!

Shame I couldn't find a 330i for him as the facelift has the 6-speed gearbox, but you could wait a long time for one of those!

At least we found a Sport with full leather!

My A/T alerts are still active so if a facelift 330i with a sunroof and Harmon Kardon pops up I'll be all over it! laugh

As for cool estates, Alfa Romeo 159 is pretty epic...

They did the Q4 version of that with the 3.2 V6. I was mightily tempted but they're meant to be quite small for an estate and the Alfa reliability put me off. Glorious looking though.
Agree on the looks - one of the best looking estates ever produced cloud9

Agreed, I bought mine new when I was 25 and loved everything about it. It was very reliable in the 3 years I had it too!

While it was beautiful and cool, it was typically Italian, with beauty of function, as the boot was very small with a small opening and there was little rear leg room, but all is forgiven when you look at it!

Here is my old one;

Rear leg room was the killer when I was looking because that *also* dictates how much room there is for children's car seats. I had a mk2 Mondeo (estate!) previously and the baby seat only just fit behind the passenger side and really didn't fit on the drivers side. Wouldn't be quite so bad now.

Yep, I understand that. When my Wife and I were expecting our little one, we traded it in for a more family orientated car, a Mercedes C63 AMG - at least it had more room for the child seat laugh

Didn't know they'd released the 'new shape'. Definitely looks better than the e92 IMO. Well done sir.
