How about a W126 estate? S Class luxury in wagon form. How cool is this? For sale in case you have a spare €60k

I've never been interested in Mercs although I can appreciate some them. That is appalling though! They said Volvos were boxy!
I makes zero effort to be cool, it is just a big powerful SLAB of meat, thus it is very very cool.
Hmmm, I would agree with that normally - I'm a big Saab nut and they were always function over form, but that thing is just dull. Possibly the most boring looking car I have ever seen. Makes a Nissan Sunny look interesting.

I've just got a F31 320i Touring, so yes, estates are now officially cool.

Its just a load of estate owning blokes telling each other that their cars are cool.

Estates are less common than they used to be so that helps them to be cooler than they once were.

Estates are definitely cool.

DS Safari - I've been lucky enough to have had a seat in one when I was a child. So very comfortable.

Peugeot 504 estate - still mobilising a lot of Africa.

To be expected my friend. One opinion in a sea of many, trying to nail down the impossible.

Austin sprites on the other hand are a little ray of sunshine. They make me smile.

My post doesnt say that they are cool, it says that they were cooler than they used to be. Very different.

They are cool because you can do things like this with them.

And then have little spider webs all over the inside for a few weeks after.

You did not say that however.....if you had you would not be wriggling because I would not be questioning your revised position.

I am trying to help you to understand my point because you dont seem to be getting it. Just because something is cooler than it used to be doesnt nesasairly mean that it is now at a point where it is cool. Get it now?
