Yep, that would be pretty interesting. Seems that lots of winners appear to have bought their tickets at Gatwick or Westfield rather than online.

I'm a cheapskate so just get one ticket per week on a special offer car for about £2.75. smile

Going for a BMW M2 for next week. Shame I missed out on the GT-R by a fair distance this week (my guess was in the white zone). paperbag

I can't help thinking they must be throwing a fair few quid at the game each week to be winning twice in a row.. Be curious to know how many tickets etc these double winners bought..
The winner this week bought 6 tickets, so not excessive.

I'm a cheapskate, it's now my lottery replacement so I just go for something on offer for £2-3 + the £10k addition each week. More fun than the lottery as I can then go off and configure my car for a bit of fun (although annoyingly, not the RS3 this week, which isn't even on the Audi UK website).

Same here, I only played Lotto once in a while.. I'll stick a few tickets on when it's a big rollover, but this as a game appeals to me much more.

I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist. I know they show the judging, I know it's all legitimate... But I find the winners really odd sometimes. Several people have won twice. Didn't someone win 3 times (maybe I'm mis-remembering)?

The guy who won last week - 6 tickets in his basket? Why would you get 6? You'd get 5 for the 20% discount or 10 for the 40% discount. 10 would have cost hardly any more than 6.

Also everyone seems to win really high-cost cars PLUS the £10K... Surely statistically people will play far more of the cheap tickets and they should win more often?

It won't stop me playing, I have been infuriatingly close a couple of times! But the results seem odd to me.

I find it odd too, but that's the randomness of it I guess. I was surprised when the builder a few months back won an Aston of some sort. I think he said he bought 1 ticket a week, and the ticket was a £20 one which seems expensive to do every week for 1 shot to me (I may be remembering wrong though(. I usually get around 10 tickets for that price of whatever is on offer, so have 10x more chance of winning. I expect to see what is on offer won more, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

A 'strange' number of tickets isn't that odd, I put my winnings back in each week and last week they credited me with a £5 loyalty bonus, I just spend whatever is in my account which can often be a strange number, I think I had 6 last week.

Also the top 10 purchased cars are listed each week, they're pretty open about the whole thing. It's in their interest for people to win 'cheap' stuff so I can't see how it can be a conspiracy! The top 10 is usually heavily weighted in favour of the offer cars, understandably.

Hi all,

I picked up my C63 AMG on Saturday. Safe to say I adore it. Absolutely satanic machine and a straight line monster. The crack made on full throttle upshifts is just epic.

I've wanted one of these for a long long time and BOTB made it happen a bit sooner than I expected. I think they were a bit cross that I sold the Range Rover so hopefully they read this and realise how grateful I am.

Pics from Goodwood Supercar Sunday below :

Should have stuck with the RR... What will you do now if you need to drive on grass?

Looks awesome and congrats ! Glad all worked out.

Am sure BOTB won't mind. RR was yours to do with what you wanted.

Very nice C63, I have test drove one and seriously contemplating one soon too
My Caterham was delivered a couple of weeks ago after winning it in October and I am definitely hanging on to it!
What a mad car it is, heading over to Europe with it in September and I have the Don Palmer course too at some point

I just signed up and had my first shot. Went for the M3 as the tickets were only £3 each.
Once I signed up I noticed that you get £5 worth of play if you refer a friend. Wish I had known that beforehand and I could have helped out one of you guys.

Anyway if anyone is going to sign up I'm sure plenty people on here would be pleased if they could refer you.

How so? Half the cars I opt for (dependent on offers) I have no intention of accepting, I'd take the cash. In your situation where the cash alternative is lower than instantly selling the car it seems like a no brainer to do exactly what you did.

I was always under the impression that a large percentage of winners would probably sell up after 12 months anyhow.

Agreed, I don't see how Botb would care - they make their money through all the losers, and the winners are free to do whatever they like. Don't feel any pity for them!

BOTB aren't cross with you at all - they're happy that one of their winners is happy and in their dream performance car! biggrin

Closest I've ever been this week, I'm normally utterly useless. Got enough back to have a couple more goes though:

Why is it that they give you a £5 game credit just after you've bought your tickets ?? mad
