Pledged for the paper copy.

Fingers crossed - but it's looking good already with less than 24 hours since going live! (If I'm reading correctly...)

Rich, what is your approach to avoiding a cease and desist type letter from a manufacturer?
I can cease and desist, that's easy enough, but the plan is to avoid giving them cause to send me one in the first place. There's a well-recommended lawyer who specialises in clearing books like this for publication, the kickstarter money goes to him, he'll suggest any changes needed. He's already seen the book and I'm quite confident I won't end up in any hot water. I have no axe to grind, these stories are from a long time ago, and names have been changes etc etc...

Done. I fancy a copy. Went physical as I take books on planes, so don't like PDF's. biggrin

I also notice you are local, so feel free to set up your own reading in the pub one day, i'll attend and listen. hehe
I like print versions, too.

Local? I'm downwind of the pork pie factory and upwind of the crisp place. The perfect spot. You?
You don't need to be so coy, on the kickstarter page it shows your location. hehe

I'm in the rough bit, just the other side of the other rough bit between us. biggrin

Sheepy Parva? I don't live there, I used it because the name makes me laugh. I'm near Melton smile

Everyone can now tell Melton Mowbray porky pies now that PDOs will go the way of the EU.

Found this thread very funny, and you are great at putting your experiences into words. Would like to see the book happen - you should time it for next Father's Day as it would go down a treat.

I think it needs to know who you are and how you'll pay, but I don't think it's any more complicated than that. I've done it, quite easily, to support other projects and am utterly inept with computers. Try it! smile
Ack, it's just *another* account to *another* website.

I'll get over it, as I've enjoyed the write-ups here. smile

There was a story years ago that VW Golfs were being delivered with chromed door handles on one side and black on the other, does anyone know if this was true?
