To be fair to TCF, he doesn't have a multi-million pound delivery network. He's packaging up the books himself and ducking down the post office to send them. Which he can only do when he gets the copies... there is a certain type of irony that Amazon's delivery is *so* efficient that customers can order, receive and read the book before the Author sees a copy.Tonsko said:

I'm a bit surprised that Amazon have it listed quicker than I can deliver backers copies, sorry! Amazon buyers don't get a message from the author, though, and without the backers this book would never have happened (there's a thank you in the book about that). Typo on page 49? I haven't seen a final print version myself yet!

It seems very fitting that there be a minor hiccup, with the author not even having clapped eyes on a copy himself before some readers have it in their hands.
