Bentley Bentayga should cover the dog issue, be good for airport runs with your younger brother too
I just remembered: my aunt owns an estate in the highlands, I can have one of my staff drop them off whilst I am out on business. For example, a friend of mine flies a CH47 Chinook. Despite the government coughing up a squillion and a half quid to to teach him how to do it, they now actually pay him to fly it!
BTW, he has about £1000 a month burning a hole in his pocket, he was wondering if a 4yr old Bugatti Veyron would....
no, forget it chaps.

May I ask if you've ever considered a helicopter to add to your already impressive fleet? On the face of it, they are very expensive but there are ways & means...

The chopper is a great idea because you can crate up the dogs & your brother then fly them up to your Aunt on the way to your business meeting!!

I don't understand the hostility.
He asked for advice and opinions, the consensus was its not a good idea, he may or may not listen to that advice.
No need to be hostile.
Or am I missing something?

In real life, as I mentioned before, you would probably get a punch in the face.

You are 'missing' that this is the internet. You can say horrible, sarcastic and unhelpful things if you wish and give yourself a massive pat on the back as you hit enter.

OP your crackers mate from the jist of it e60 m5's ruin powerfully built directors on 100k a year..
Ive always been reasonably lucky with cars ran an e39 535i since i was 19 so i feel inclined to comment about old mannish bmw fives (lovely cars though).. i bought an e38 for roughly 3 grand a few years ago and truth is they still have the running costs of a 70k car , It was 100% the car i always wanted after seeing pierce brosnan hoon around in it in tommorow never dies, genuinely there has been no other car ive lusted after like that, But all the issues and things borking turned a dream car into one that i was completely indifferent about, So what im getting at is things aint always as rosy as they seem.
It could all be ok , Or you could end up hating the fking thing while getting cleaned out financially in the process...Its a roulette wheel and really the choice is yours.
I bought a knackered MG ZR for 200 quid last year and i found that to be good crack, They get derided by most but great little hooly of a car, Teary eyed as i scrapped it.
I actually saved up 13k for an e65/66 seven around 2010 time , didnt do it and ive had a lot of fun with my 500 quid odd bangers since.
Edited to add: E30 on your youtube looks tasty enough as it is or with a bit of work, id be happy with that!

Sorry to bump this but for anyone interested what I have ended up buying I should be collecting it on Sunday provided nothing goes wrong with sorting trailer hire.
On top of what I may be collecting I bought a 2003 Range Rover which should have the smaller bills compared to what im collecting (not an M5 - or is it?)

So long epic thread ends with no M5, another cheap Range Rover (after the one you sold to your mum broke?) and from the sounds of it yet another questionable "project"?On top of what I may be collecting I bought a 2003 Range Rover which should have the smaller bills compared to what im collecting (not an M5 - or is it?)
I wish I could say I'm surprised...

The one my mum bought was fixed, all it needed was a £25 plate replaced. Cheap Rangie was bought because I released I couldnt live without a car which can tow 3ton.I wish I could say I'm surprised...
The project is very questionable, even I think its a little mad. Money comes and goes so even if it goes tits up (likely) there is no finance involved as its much cheaper.
