Meant next Sunday not the Sunday just past. Got to drive down south for it so probably won't update till Monday anyway.
The suspense is killing me. Please tell me it's not an unexpectedly rusty S500 Merc...
I suspect a leggy Audi S8..

Looking forward to your update OP!

Both will be disapointed. They would be smart choices compared to this.

Would of had acceptable running costs.

Seems I'm stuck on the side of the road anyway so probably won't be collecting today.

Its about 15-20% of its price new, if I adjust for inflation its less than 2%. Its also majorly fked.

Broke down and had to get recovered home. Glow plug had blown out of the block, easy and cheap fix once it was home but it means I cannot collect till next Sunday now.

Crumbs. So assume it's £1K now, it was £4-5K new, which equals about £50K in today's money. Must be something 1960's or thereabouts.

Could be... XJS or XJ12 coupe? Either would be impressive, but could make the M5 seem like an economy run car!
