Because who doesnt love seeing a old battered rolls (which will be a project at home and not on the road for quite a while) as a way to impress mates rather than a brand new financed Audi/BMW/Merc.
I'm only kidding by the way. The Rolls is an interesting choice... good luck with it though!

Simply I like being different to everyone my age.
Nowt wrong with that, being individual makes life interesting and rewarding.

Lots of people have a hankering for old american iron and spend a fortune and a lot of effort on customizing and making them 'their own'.

Doing it with some British Beef like the Roller - I like that.

You need to wrap/plastidip it matte black, put some wide steel wheels on it, tint the fook out of it, slam it and drive around like the angel of death

Blaring out Rob Dougan...

"Like a sentence of death
I got no options left
I've got nothing to show now

I'm down on the ground
I've got seconds to live
And you can't go now"

You are completely bonkers, barmy and borderline insane, and it's fantastic!

Shane Lynch's drift RR is also on air ride suspension. Purely built to show off/for a TV show I think.

Yeh the show was something to do with Kahn.

But to lower this car you need air suspension as its all connected via hydraulics to the brakes too. Theres no real other way without maybe welding brackets for coilovers? Not got a huge idea as I havent even seen the car!

Story from what I understand is the guy has 5 of them and used/does run a wedding car business. Bought this one for interior bits for one of his cars but due to his being a shadow 2 they wouldn't fit so he just put them back in the car and never bothered to refit.

Has been sitting for 1-2 years since it last ran and about 7 years since its last Mot. If it is truly awful and will never get back on a road it can be parted out for more than I've paid so worth a shot I reckon.
Well done. This is precisely the moronic lunacy that a student should be getting up to. You have the whole of your adult life to drive around in a BMW but only one true window of opportunity to tool around town in a messed up old Roller.

Genuinely inspiring. Have fun and good luck.

Girls will think you have something that looks like a Phantom/Shadow/Ghost when you tell them you have a roller.

Their face when you pick them up for the first time in that laugh

I'll stick my neck out here and say that thing will never see an MOT again. I'll also wager a guess that even to get it close to the road will cost more than buying a working example to begin with.
