New landlady in my local will serve jugs of port and lemon (with ice if so desired). Still no pickled eggs.

The port and lemon/pickled egg combo would be rather nice for lunch on the day of the next Losers' Conference at Gaydon in Sep.

I'm not saying this is a good example (it may be) but on price alone this has to be something of a landmark for what is to my mind a great looking barge.

I wonder what horrors are hiding under that Black Wrap?
Dreadful wheels with rubber band tyres. Ugh.

Other than that, it's got some long standing, unresolved advisories.

I'm sure it's lovely smile
Proper north-London, Eastern European builder- spec.
Funnily enough I was in Park Royal today and this is an accurate description!

Aha, no, was there for work unfortunately. Was very surprised to see a convoy of a Gallardo, 2x FFRR and a Maserati GT today as I was pulling out of a non descript industrial estate!

Listing them here might be a good start, not least because there are lots of owners and you might be doing someone a favour.

The SLC sold today. I'm regretting that it wasn't me already.

I think the wheels suit it quite well. I dislike the wrap and would want it removed to inspect the paint underneath, don't think I would never buy pre-wrapped car.

MERCEDES S600 BITURBO 2003 LIMO 500BHP . £5,500. SRS light on and a bit of rust.

Think of trading my Super V8 for the W221 version in the next year or so, something like this:

Wonder how the running costs would be compared to the Jag, obv. worse MPG.
Definitely a tune would be on the cards!

The front seat backs not match. I couldn't live with that

Doh. There'll be others! Anyway, I think I hear a Jaguar coughing quietly in mid-stage.

Along vaguely similar lines- I washed my W126 today- instinctively went for the suspension height button to raise it up to maximum to get to the lower bodywork more easily. Doh, again (I just sold a Citroen C6). I love old Mercs, but man I miss the hydropnuematic Citroen suspension. That stuff was a masterpiece of iterative design and engineering, now gone.

Pic 1 is a brilliant example of what this thread likes- gravel...
That plus an lpg kit would be years of V8 motoring, surely? Put me off it, for Gods sake. I need a Kayak carrying Estate with an auto box and my man maths are dangerously creeping in to play. This beats any equivalent merc e-class value wise, and underneath are very similar. And it's a V8 with cylinder shutdown and, well, just look at it. And 15 miles from me.

I just don't get these. It's not just that he got his mum to take the photos for him, I always feel you need to wear crocs to own a 300C. Not just that, but wear them in public too.

I like it, but then that's probably because we are starved of the newer generation of american V8s in RHD cars so I'd like anything that bucks that trend. The interiors are incredibly 'American' in look and feel and the drive is a bit dumb, but my experience was with a diesel, and I suspect a V8 one should be loads better because Hemi!

When I'm home, like now, my commute is 2 miles of 30mph then 30miles of 60-70mph dual carriageway straight to the park and ride. Numb is fine for 95 percent of my use. I want comfort and then the ability to powerslide across a damp field with the boats on the roof. Yes, council, but fun...

I'm not quite sure why (and I have never driven one) but I quite like the 300C, particularly with the Hemi.

A 300C without the ugly chrome badges can look fine, in a menacing American way.

Pardon my laziness in not finding out for myself, but what's the going rate for a half decent example ATM?

I followed one of these yesterday, strangely enough. Great menacing rumble. I'm never sure whether I rather like them or find them a bit crass, but I'm leaning towards "like". They always make me think of this film:

which can only be a good thing.
