Spotted an E34 taxi, surely one of the oldest taxis in the country. It was on the a10 in cambs somewhere. Looked in lovely nick.
Chapy buy us uses a Peugeot 504 estate as a tax, has another (saloon) for personal use. Has an expensive private plate on the taxi. Is quite the local celeb.

£8 plus £3 post for 2nd hand is best l can see.

I reckon you could have a lucrative 2nd hand book lending operation here Jonathan! Let's say we each get a months rental for £3 each and we post the book on to the next PHer and the remittance to you, until we've all had a read.

Who do I send my £3 for the 1st month to, you or CdeG?
I'm feeling really bad, now. I bought them up not to corner the market but because I thought they'd make good gifts for petrol-head friends. I spent yesterday afternoon reading chapters out loud to my lady pupil, who seemed to enjoy it greatly (but then it's her job to enjoy my every word). If you PM me your address, John, I'll send one of the 45p specials over the water. That's five ear-marked. Only two spares left in my collection. It is a very good book.
Had the Post Office 'something for you' card when I got home yesterday, so picked it up last night.

You are truly a prince among men R129. Looking forward to reading every last word of it. Thanks again!

That would be fantastic Jonathan, you're a gem!

I promise to either send it it back to you or pass on to another PHer when I'm finished.
I would happily be another link in the chain!
No probs, pm me your details.

Might be a few weeks mind you!

Any E34 tips? (I know rust, anywhere in particular?) I may be looking at a couple over the weekend as I can't seem to find 'the right' 190e for me.

One 540i Auto Touring and one 520i Manual Saloon.

Ok this Volvo T5 has been modified but it still looks in very good condition with a great service record.

£3,999 is pushing it but it should be trouble free motoring.

Sorry for the screen shot only picture. If people prefer just the link I can do that from now on. Tried everything to get a non screenshot of the car but it just comes up with a blank box. Bl**** Chromebook

I wanted this a year ago when I bought my T5 Estate, was up for around £1700 without the wheels. Car was too far for me to view.

1994 BMW E34 525 TDS 5-speed Manual

158,000 mls.

Strong price £2,995 but looks in good condition.

The diesels are hard to find.
Am I alone in the feeling the sad irony in this?

Probably, but I am enjoying the relative simplicity of the motor as if is - more injectors etc is just more things to leak/fail etc

Besides, LPG....Eeeewwww. :-)

I always think that doing lots of miles to justify LPG must be torture. Having to stop and fill up several times a week would be painful. I only do 350 miles and it's enough for me to be able to fill up once a week...

If range on lpg is a pain, and range on petrol is a bit less of a pain, then range on petrol + lpg is...

...even less of a pain!

Ta-daa!!!

Honestly, its great stuff. 600 mile range in an XJS and never a queue for the pump either.

Colour is confusing.
Is it black maybe?
Why do sellers not take more care when taking photos to help sell a car.
Seems well priced compared to some.

I don't think it's black. Blue or green I'd have said.

Is it like that dress picture that was doing the rounds a few months back?
