I'm not saying this is a good example (it may be) but on price alone this has to be something of a landmark for what is to my mind a great looking barge.

I wonder what horrors are hiding under that Black Wrap? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...
Dreadful wheels with rubber band tyres. Ugh.
Other than that, it's got some long standing, unresolved advisories.
I'm sure it's lovely

Funnily enough I was in Park Royal today and this is an accurate description!
I would stay clear of that seller....BlueMR2 said:
Hey fellow bargeists, where is a good place to sell genuine mercedes parts i purchased for the E-Class but now won't be used without venturing on to ebay?
Listing them here might be a good start, not least because there are lots of owners and you might be doing someone a favour. Jodyone said:

The SLC sold today. I'm regretting that it wasn't me already. bob-lad said:

I think the wheels suit it quite well. I dislike the wrap and would want it removed to inspect the paint underneath, don't think I would never buy pre-wrapped car.Dreadful wheels with rubber band tyres. Ugh.

Think of trading my Super V8 for the W221 version in the next year or so, something like this:Wonder how the running costs would be compared to the Jag, obv. worse MPG.
Definitely a tune would be on the cards!

Doh. There'll be others! Anyway, I think I hear a Jaguar coughing quietly in mid-stage.Along vaguely similar lines- I washed my W126 today- instinctively went for the suspension height button to raise it up to maximum to get to the lower bodywork more easily. Doh, again (I just sold a Citroen C6). I love old Mercs, but man I miss the hydropnuematic Citroen suspension. That stuff was a masterpiece of iterative design and engineering, now gone.

Black Chrysler 300C estate, 5.7 Hemi, allegedly 51k, 2007 so nasty tax, wobble quickly for only £4500.

That plus an lpg kit would be years of V8 motoring, surely? Put me off it, for Gods sake. I need a Kayak carrying Estate with an auto box and my man maths are dangerously creeping in to play. This beats any equivalent merc e-class value wise, and underneath are very similar. And it's a V8 with cylinder shutdown and, well, just look at it. And 15 miles from me. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...

Pardon my laziness in not finding out for myself, but what's the going rate for a half decent example ATM?Wonder how the running costs would be compared to the Jag, obv. worse MPG.
Definitely a tune would be on the cards!
