This thread has encouraged the purchase of the following: Mercedes 300e, Audi A8 4.2, BMW e23, Mercedes SL, and hopefully another car soon..:

Happy barging everyone and here's to volume 10!

Only the second change of volume in my time here but definitely the best thread on PH.

Happy barging! Not hungover but my head is fuzzy. And a full day's work ahead...

I can't stop obsessing about these.

Is there a more elegant, timeless headturner for £5000?

Continuing the FFRR theme from the previous thread, this looks rather good. A refreshing change from the white wrap with 22" black wheels theme many early L322s have fallen victim to.

beautiful, though I wouldn't buy a 3.6 - I had one years ago and it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.

No. That looks wonderful.

From La Maison du Palmier, a nice little baby estate car. Not really a barge and certainly nothing to get excited about with the puniest motor, but it looks quite lovely and it hails from our favourite seller.

I like the 202- still old-school enough and classy enough when clean like this one. The 1.8 lump isn't too bad, we had a new one in 94 and seemed decent enough. It's only about 15hp down on the 2.0 from memory.

Handsome looking T6 Petrol engined volvo XC90, registered post crippling Tax bracket I think, the fuel consumption will probably bankrupt anyone, if the failure of the gearbox doesn't but for doing the school run still looks like a good buy @ £3500k...
