And just to add some yang to the ying have what I thought would be a LHD euro-trip-family mobile, but this Cadillac SRX 3.6 with an LPG conversion is RHD. Why did they do that??? It does look comfy, and 8.1 to 60 is not as sluggish as I thought it might be. I await the flaming!

Is it just me, or is that LPG tank absurdly big? I quite like it though for being so outlandishly left-field. Talking of fields, I can't think why he's driven onto his lawn for the photos...http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...

Ultimate barge??
Better looking than a MPV.
Bit hard to park
Mercedes E280
6 Door 8 Seater Pullman Limousine
79,350 miles
Personally love it but doubt it will be any use apart from what it was made to do.
Be very surprised if it made £5,000
BTW I am not being serious. Just thought it looked cool

XK8 in Carnival (?) red with cream and aparently under 100k. Lots of receipts but apparently no SH is offset by buying it for £3.5k.

Just spoke with the vendor who did not sound very Crawley so a plus point at the start.
It sounds like an alright car and will come with a new MOT. What I need to establish next is if the marks / dents are parking scuffs or if they are all rust spots. There is some rust visible in the pics around the rear bumper and the massive section of paint that is missing.
Anyone got a checklist for the W220? I know mainly rust but where are the hidden hotspots? Next step is I am going to get a friend to go and have a look since it turns out he lives very close to the vendor.

Waiting to see the results of this one with bated breath. We might have a thread winner if it works at this price. It sounds like an alright car and will come with a new MOT. That M275 unit is less of an engine, more a seismic force.

Quite like this for a haggle into thread budget, what are the w221 like? S350 rather than 500, but the V6 is potent enough to propel 2T quickly enough.

Quite the haggle if you take the intake manifold into account, but it seems like they're getting closer. Rather like them.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...
It simply wouldn't do to rock up in a superior car. Not in this part of the world, where the car you drive to work dictates your place company food chain.

Airbag light was on I noticed but other than that looks a fine old thing. I had a '95 A8 Quattro Sport and it was superb.
Only thing to beware of is the 5 speed gearbox that one has isn't super robust and not nearly as reliable as the earlier 4 speed.

Love when you get a past owner giving you the information which many do not know.
Honestly never knew the 4 speed was more reliable than the 5 speed.
Good to know
