Mercedes 190e passed with just two advisories. A tyre which I plan to replace with 4 new ones and a bit of rust on the sill.

I am amazed. After the year I've had with it I'm almost delirious!

TBH, I don't even really know what it is but...Wow! 29k miles would be like a new car and inside thread budget. Impressed!
Good cars, but anyone that wasn't blind and posessed of a modicum of good taste will hate the interior. Very Asian, but not in a good way.
Ah! See what you mean. Some of the exterior styling seems to come with a small portion of rice included for free as well? And not of the necessarily edible variety?
Horrid rear lights aside, I found the interior of ours to be nicely functional and very comfortable. Certainly no more offensive to the eye than similarly-aged interiors of Merc/BMW etc.

That is a revolting colour scheme. Given I recently bought my metallic red one with black leather for £600 and saw a blue one go for £409 on Ebay I think he may be being spectacularly optimistic with the price.

I haven't seen this posted yet? Not perfect but it's a V12 for £2250 with a years MOT!

750 is a good find and great value at £2k. MOT history looks ok, probably wants some tyres and maybe crusty brake pipes looking at in due course. Other than that fill it with fuel and off you go, wont be cosmetically perfect but who cares.

One for 0a perhaps?

Silver Shedow I £1500

All it needs is a front screen and a trip to your nearest Polish lads with their bucket of scratches and you'll be away.

Honest Guv.

New thread-qualifying purchase. True to type it is:

  • A bit old but not very
  • A bit sheddy but not very
  • Cheap, but not very
  • Rocking an LPG conversion
Further graphic updates once it has stopped raining stair-rods.
It addition to the Jag?
Yup, but no further details until supporting imagery is available.

I love this bit, and it doesn't happen often enough for me to risk popping my own smoky 1-5 barge balloon.
Here we go. The Tebbit-Mobile.

Bought because the XJS is fine for transporting unitot but deeply frustrating when prompted into the realm of multisprogular perambulation.

And also because if it was good enough for Margaret Thatcher's Vegetables, then it's good enough for me.

You know dbdb's XJ40? Well it's nothing like that. It's a shed. But it isn't half comfy.

Mahoosive LPG tank, 170,000 miles, 11 months MOT, £1,000.00 exactly. Whether that is a bargain or whether I've been totally mugged remains as yet very much unclear.

Looks great to me. Must be one of the last production cars to wear pin-striping as well, shirley?

Hand painted pin striping to boot.

Top barging SJ. An old XJ ticks every single box.

I'd rather double the £1500 to £3000 and go here;

Some wonderful stuff there, selling for what look like very low prices.

Wonder how much more these cars would fetch if they weren't where they are. I'd certainly go for a browse if they weren't in Narnia, and you know what browsing leads to...

I really like these. A bit quirky and very well built. The 6 cylinder makes a lovely racket.

I'm still a bit a bit peeved at getting outbid on the mintiest example I found as a p/ex at the Woodford MD. Deep metallic blue, black leather, subtle SS exhaust, 70k. Chuffing lovely it was.
