That seems remarkably cheap - plenty of scope to spend some money and still be a bargain.

They also have an 850 which, while over budget, looks ok, and a CLK500 within haggling of thread budget. All the adverts read ok too.
Mileage will put a lot of folk off.
Lovely motor nonetheless.

There's something very tempting about this pov spec SE. Any thoughts?

I rather like it. Classy looking, simple, decent colour, cheap.

I really like that. I wouldn't be put off by the miles at that price!

Me neither, but isn't that likely to have Airmatic? And isn't it sitting a bit low at the back? Not insurmountable if an Airmatic problem is the case, but it may explain the price.

Also, that guy's 850 looks wrong to me. Badges everywhere, a bumper that doesn't look right to me for some reason, and a steering wheel from a 1 series to top it off!

Yes, it will have Airmatic.

Er..........My BMW knowledge extends to being able to spot one and a basic grasp of perhaps 25% of their model series' references (E34, E39 - there, almost exhausted) so I'll refrain from passing comment on them again!

Don't refrain: differing opinions is what the forums are about.
I could be adding 2+2 and getting 22. I'm not an expert either, but it doesn't seem correct to me.

I maybe biased but that is a very good looking car.
Nice colour as well.

Alternatively, poor spec not including leather, but after it's cleaned up - could be nice too:

While I'm not too sure on this example, it's a shame modern Audi is so far from this. A genuinely interesting design which looks great on little, unfussy wheels and with a small grille.

Looks a bargain. I love it in green too on those wheels (17s on the E500 I believe?). Interior looks very well for the miles and colour.

I've just priced up my ideal brand new 3-Series and 5-Series on the BMW website. I wonder when a 550i will turn up with all the Individual options I chose and under five grand. I can hope...

Didn't realise they still made a 550i, will have to check that out (when did I just start letting new cars pass me by?)

Although with BMW these days, it may be a 4 pot with 4 turbos or something.

Nope, a 450bhp 4.4 TT V8 smile

BMW have always had iffy naming structures with turbo cars. Remember the E23 745i wink

I saw a gold one with a load of Individual options on Autotrader a while ago. Looked good. I think that most are ordered as an M-Sport and there's no manual gearbox.

A 340i saloon with a manual gearbox also appeals to me a lot

One for Oa!
This XJR looks very tidy & looks very classy with the colour/wheel combo. A very good advert too!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-55-JAGUAR-XJR-4-2-V...

Minor issues, a few spots of alloy corrosion (they are do this sir smile) and the connection to the NAV screen needs checking as it is a slightly weird hue.

I spotted this barge in Hedge End yesterday. Might be a while until it reaches budget, mind....if ever. Brand new Rolls-Royce Dawn.

And yes, I'd probably park it like that too in a busy car park!

He's asking £9,450 for it on his site, I seem to remember it was at £9,995 a couple of weeks ago. Says the alloys are refurbed and as new.

Good news. didn't realise we were still on the F10 tbh.

Managed to navigate my way past a very tempting deal on the front page to rent a 118i M Sport with just £4269 down and 35 payments of £259.

£82125 but rather disappointng that you can't have it as a tourer.

These a6 are actually really solid cars, I have one with the 1.8t petrol engine and use it for pottering round town and when I don't want to leave the merc in car parks etc.

As an aside why would the dealer include a shot of the engine bay when its filthy? Would take 20 mins to give it a cursory clean.
