Lots of useful stuff
Thanks, also to Ross and Croutons - put me off them a little! Guess I'll stick to W211s, a bit more class, a bit less 'arrogance' and possibly less bork. I've got roughly 6 months before I'll be forced to make a decision one way or the other - no harm in having a look around now methinks.bob-lad said:
Or search for one and they click on "Sold Listings" to get an idea of they've gone for recently.
When limiting to eBay I'd suggest that might risk a skewed figure, in that shills and sheds will peak and trough the figures. I think with the miles (below average as it may be) at 4k you might find it sticks for a while, there are plenty to choose from up to that figure.

That is only 2 miles from me. The mot history is probably the best I've ever seen.mccrackenj said:

Pretty shoddy advert, doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad car though. No rust apparently.

Elderly Mercedes people, have our cars just gone up or down in value? Do we laugh or do we cry?

Are you actually after a 300se? I know a friend is trying to sell his and is having all kinds of trouble with people messing him about.

I'm surprised this didn't get more threadist-love. Looks decent for rather less than thread minimum. This one: http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/192910/1990...

I was in Mercedes Edinburgh earlier and they had nothing in their main showroom other than a C class estate (they had an event last night) - I joked that it was good to see a more old fashioned range!http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Is a late W126 the most handsome Mercedes of all time? I can't help but stare at them.

I wasn't a fan either, but way back when I had one, mine had all the Paramount Performance mods. Totally transformed the car.
Unfortunately this one was written off. Whilst stationary, I might add
From the MoT database, it appears that it's back on the road and being poorly maintained.
IMHO the front view of these is easily their best angle. The headlights, grille and bonnet shapes seem to come together so much better than on the follow up model (X150?). The still look superb in your rear view mirror. Unfortunately this one was written off. Whilst stationary, I might add

Barge or not? :-/

Can't argue with the in-gear performance of these things. Respond really well to chipping too I believe?

Sunroof, CD changer and TV, nice. Fingers crossed! Pretty shoddy advert, doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad car though. No rust apparently.

Don't worry, all German marques suffer from unfortunate ideas (put your gin down before clicking) https://www.gumtree.com/p/bmw/bmw-x6-full-hamman-b... pic 3 in particular... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
