Wow. Even the logo implies terrible driving. The wheels aren't round, and they're leaning forward so she must be going REALLY FAST possibly over 20mph. And there are 'shake' lines behind so she's probably hooning down an unsealed country road. And the children in the back are running riot and causing a dangerous distraction. Don't know what a diamond cut wheel is, but assuming the Nissan Cumquat wheels in Fek-na spec are? I don't think many owners are bothered. More the people driving around in 'classics' who need to endlessly point out that they are not luddites

On the other hand I know a guy who at the time had an Impreza and when I noticed the sticker on it I started talking to him about going. He didnt even know what the sticker was for or what the Nurburgring was and had just put it on as he had seen others with it. This was about 11 years ago before the Ring was mega popular though.

Several people have now commented that they are surprised "a temp" can afford to drive a BMW as it must be expensive. On the one hand it is nice that they have noticed how good condition the car is, on the other I'm completely baffled that people think it must be worth ten times it's true value when in reality it's possibly the cheapest car in the car park.
On the subject of awful car trends that deserve to die, I nominate forced rat
This concept of deliberately ruining a perfectly acceptable paint job/sticking on old tat and somehow in the process spending more money than a decent "detail" or getting areas touched up.
Exactly the same in my office at work. The middle managers all have Insignia company cars (with the odd Volvo V40) and I constantly hear them commenting on how the couple of contractors we have working here must be 'raking it in' because one has a E60 5 Series M-Sport and another has an E90 330d coupe. I Started a new temp job a few weeks back, upon arrival on site driving a 1997 5 series BMW I parked up alongside about twenty mostly Corsas/Clios/Fiestas/Civics/A3s all less than 5 years old. They're both quantity surveyors too, so the truth is more likely that they understand numbers and realise they can get a high spec used car for less than the staff are paying in BIK for their barren Vauxhalls.
