These have always scared me, they just look like they are being held up with twigs

At least they actually pushed the bits that matter onto the tarmac and not the whole car - that way it didn't need rock hard suspension.

I know the time attack Evos such as 'Black Mamba' and SVA's car have their Aero properly developed using cfd/computer models, not sure how much physical testing happens but they do a lot of data logging so would have some baseline to decide if its working or not

Central driving position? Looks like a lot of work has gone into that car.

Worth pointing out... Yet to be seen at any sort of TA event. Which would suggest its been done for cosmetics.

I think the standard interior proves that, and the screamer pipe through the bonnet, which I don't think would be allowed.

God that blokes a nobber if it's the car that I think it is. Sits in carparks with his dyno sheet on the dash like that banging it off of the anti lag all night and acting like the big man. Even a moron can tell it's all cosmetic and done for show, no cage in it for a start.

Probably the tyre lettering that says TIME ATTACK too...

Christ, at first it's not bad, but the closer you look the worse it gets.

Shame.

Was at the Herts Auto Show over at Stanborough lakes In Welwyn Garden City on Sunday. As the above poster points out, it's purely a car park queen and it was popping and banging off the anti-lag as it was driven out of the show area. Once or twice is fine, but to do it continuously in slow moving traffic and thick crowds of people was just a bit immature. Upstaged and out classed by a lovely Purple TVR with the numberplate "V8 NUT" which followed it.

There was an even bigger nob at this event though - some genius in a clapped-out Astra GTE which sported rusty arches, drainpipe exhaust and several different shades of white. Wheelspinning and bouncing off the limiter in a public place where children were playing was pure stupidity. Fella needs to have the alignment of his eyeballs checked out too, neither one of them could look straight from his ugly mug. I did manage to get a picture of the driver:

No pic, bt Top Fuel Dragsters have 3-element wings mounted about 8 ft high,

so they can cut through unspoilt air,

they press the rear axle down with 4 tons of pressure at 300 mph to prevent tire slip.

Front wing creates a ton of downforce to prevent the car from wheelying tipping-over,

as a result the chassis bends 10 inches up in the middle like a steel-tube banana.
