Totally agree, I drive my RS4 B8 in Sport mode around town to achieve a minimum level of responsiveness at low speed and in Comfort mode on the motorway!

The annoying thing is that a) Sport mode activates the Sports Exhaust which makes you sound like a kn0b driving around town, which combined with b) the gearbox holding gears for longer means you look like an aggressive knob as you lurch around town.

The rest of the time the car is phenomenal; a by product of the above is that rev matching on the downshift in a loud Sports mode is quite a good safety feature for headphone wearing / texting London pedestrians - one still looks like a kn0b with all that Sports noise around town though.

Looking forward to this car I've had my B5 RS4 for nearly 10 years so it's good to see Audi going back to a smaller engine with forced induction

I passed a really clean, original, B5 S4 Avant in silver yesterday on the motorway and it reminded me how handsome Audis used to be..
