I'd be embarrassed driving that on the road with that aero and colour scheme.
I would love it! So many rain-cloud grey diesel Euroboxes on the road, the Aston is the total opposite!
Embarrassed to drive a clearly race car derived Aston?

You're on the wrong website mate.
No. I'm just averse to looking like a chav. It looks like one of those cars where the owner starts modding it and just doesn't know when to stop.

Without the aero kit and tacky day colour scheme it woud be a far more appealing proposition.

Mate.

Ah yes the rofl smilie. The last resort of all great debaters. My opionion is laughable, side splitting even, simply because it differs from yours?

With all respect to your opinion, the term "chav" is not the appropriate word to use, particularly when referring to an Aston Martin, especially a Vantage, whatever variant it may be.

If you don't like something, a car, a particular brand or the wing, my suggestion is to try, at least, to argument your reason/s for your dislike.. rather than simply saying "...looking like a chav" because of a colour combo and an aero-pack (which, by the way, as clearly stated in the article, it is an option. FYI, as well as the colour combo).

Myself and, likely, other members of the forum will be more interested in constructive comments such as the reason/s you don't like about that particular Aero?

Otherwise, if you say you don't like wings in general, well, I don't think is of interest to anyone (my suggestion here would be to avoid posting in the first place).

And as I clearly stated earlier, without the full aero and in a different colour scheme it would be far more appealling.

The spec shown in the article is tacky IMHO. Luminous green may suit a genuine racecar but looks garish on a road car, especially on a marque that is generally renowned for restrained elegance.

The blades special edition is very nice for example.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but at the same time I won't dismiss another posters views as laughable nonsense by using rofl

Aside the Aero, a quick note on the color: I noticed the pictures are not appropriately reflecting the "green" of the main body. I saw it back at the factory, in the same room where was presented to the press, and it looked less "shouty" color-wise. Some of my friends acually thought the green was a grey!

The reason they launched in that color is probably due to the racecar the GT8 is inspired to (the GTE), which from this year has abandoned the Gulf Racing look (change in sponsors too).

Turquoise is right - it's totally chav
Wealthy chav but still chav
Reminds me of some Mansory monstrosity.
Bet it's fun on track though.
