Your Favorite Car Ever
Discussion
First new thread, hopefully not been done too recently?
What is your [b]all time favourite car[b]?
Rules:
- Name, pic and short reason what inspires you about it/ to like it.
- No slating anyone else choice
- No price/age/performance/type limit
- Must be a road legal or potentially road legal car (e.g concept.)
I'll start:
A predictable choice but its never changed since I was a kid
Ferrari F40. There's just something right about it The noise, the looks, the fact that it was a no nonsense supercar.
happy posting

Lamborghini Murcielago
It was the first real supercar I truly fell in love with, I got a passenger ride in one a few years later and it didn’t disappoint. Then once I passed my test, I got to drive one on an experience day, wow! They sound savage, they look mean and they go like the clappers. I will have one someday.

For many decades it was the 924 Carrera GT as that was the car that started my interest in cars after a passenger ride in one when I was 10.
Then it recently changed to the 918 as it has managed to take apart everything that goes up against it despite weighing more and having less power, whilst looking utterly delectable and classy.
But then Porsche went and made the new "R" and it just works for me. So that's it...

The 1961 Ferrari 250GT California. Less than a hundred were made. My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his love, it is his passion..........................It is his fault he didn't lock the garage.
As a teenager in the 80's this has to be it, but an original not the replica and not in red.

No pics but the 288 GTO. I don't think that needs any further explanation.
1st person to mention a chipped 330d has lost.
what about MX5 or a 320d ?1st person to mention a chipped 330d has lost.
So we'll go with SAABs and/or Golf Rs.
What?
Oh
A Singer.
I just love everything about them. Amazing attention to detail and built by passionate people with timeless looks.
I know the Porsche beards will mock them for not being original but I love the fact it's a classic but has modern levels of performance and reliability.
The other thing I love about them is they aren't just built to chase numbers. BHP, 0-60 and top speed are pretty much irrelevant. It has more than enough power to be a thrilling road car and you can extract most of the performance from it most of the time. Most modern 'supercars' are too big and too powerful to really enjoy on the road.
If I had one I wouldn't be envious of anything else on the road.
