Picking mine up on Thursday evening - grey, GT and pre registered 16 plate with just less than 400 miles on the clock.

Did I read somewhere that they were only producing 2500 of these?

its a ghastly looking thing, i didnt mind the FN2 i thought the shape was ok but its as if they have taken the FN2 and glued a load of egg cartons and lolly ice sticks to it.

When I went to test drive the new type r I parked my fn2 along side it. They really don't look too much alike. After seeing the car in person the looks have certainly grown on me.

1500 I heard, but I have noting to back that up confused

Is that 1500 for UK, for Europe? Maybe 2500 worldwide? Who knows?

All I will say is it's an amazing car and even if they somehow build 20,000 of them it just has that special something about it

I seen one in the wild the other day.

I originally thought it looked horrible in the photos but words can't decribe how bad it looks in the flesh.

I saw one the other day and it didn't stand out as much as I thought it would, even in white with the silly red lines everywhere. It just looked like a slightly gaffer Civic, though the current Civic looks so bloody awful that it takes a lot of effort to make it worse!

I went to have a look at one yesterday and was offered a test drive. I really liked it. Surprisingly comfortable, practical and good fun to drive and it even looked better in the flesh than in photos. I did find the shift and clutch a bit too light though.

I think it`s very colour sesitive. The grey and blue suit it but the red and white less so. IMHO obviously.

I had a second and more prolonged drive in one on Monday. Salesman was great and I really warmed to the looks of the car.

The same concerns remained for me though; I'ts a car that should have arrived 3 years ago. It looks like it should be a lot faster than it is. Maybe because I'm used to fast cars made me come away feeling unsure.

I found the seat position annoying because when I was comfy and the wheel adjusted to the height I like, It blocks the view of the digi speed display and shift lights.

Way too firm and shouty for anything other than track is my opinion.

I think it's a car to buy as a toy as for me it's not something I'd roll around in every day.

One shocking thing - the car was 2 months old and had less than 100 miles on the clock (they admitted there was little interest from buyers) I put the reg into wbac just purely for a trade valuation to get a feel of how the trade sees the depreciation.
The 'offer' was £22k - that's on a car costing £32k, less than 100 miles and 2 month old.

I think they are going to lose money massively until they reach the 10-15k mark where the fanboys can afford them and then firm up because hardly any will have been sold and the demand will increase.

It needs to be 4wd and at least 350hp to make a tempting purchase. Honda are way behind the times with this pup imho

I saw one in blue not so long ago and you couldn't help but notice it. Looked really nice in that colour.

About 7k cheaper and far better set up suspension wise. Wouldn't buy one of those either
