No to the wheels:
Road - too big in both diameter & width.
Steering - wrong side.

Yes to everything else. Can I interest sir in a limb, part used?

Jet
Sadly hilarious that the wheels are 15" and look too big, when only yesterday the RRS needed 21" to be complete.

LHD hardly matters as this is so narrow you'd probably not be much further from the centreline than with modern doors' 12" of side impact protection. And the thin pillars would give excellent over-shoulder visibility.
15", they look at least 19s!

It's easy to forget quite how small these things are.

But its £35K & only got 4 cylinders - seems to be everyones complaint.

As a weekend toy I can't think of a better way to spend £35K.

Still a better deal then a 47K 4 cilinder porsche then silly

Honestly, i wouldnt be bothered by cilinder count if it looks and sounds like that.

Of course we know that we'd want to. Utterly charming. Even a bit sensuous. And the perfect riposte to the cult of 2002 (a car which, let's face it, most of us would also want to have.)

As others have noted above, the price is too dear. Sorry to say. I am confident, however, that the buyer / owner will not let this machine sit about in a garage. It will be driven.

Perfect sort of car for one of the Petrolicious videos.

Oh, imagine tuning the carbs, in the driveway on a Saturday morning!

I hate that saying. I just don't get the obsession people seem to have with Alfa, perhaps it's a generational thing but most of the cars I've grown up seeing (like the 145, 156) are, to my eyes, terrible.

This is spectacular however, no questions.

Wonderful cars. Get out and drive one and then try to tell me they're not a brilliantly engaging car to drive. And then there's the looks. I stare back at mine for every second step of my first 20 and then just every third step till out of sight. I love the looks of them.

Oh man I've been on the look out for something like this on and off for ages now. Many of these are fitted with cages and stripped out interiors for track days which isn't what I'm after, however this one is just superb.

Then I visit the dealer website and it's listed as sold :'(

That's lovely

Any idea what those seats are from? I need a pair!
Those flying buttress seats were standard on the Alfa 1750 GTV Mark 1 and some Guilia GTA Juniors, etc. They are now rare as hens teeth and for what it's worth, usually only the drivers side has the movable headrest.

The Zagato ones are similar, look down the page.

ETA: No wing/door mirrors? Not even one - is that normal on the original? I thought it had to have at least the drivers' side...
Originally it would have had a door mirror on each door.

I don't think it would be legal to drive it on the road in the UK like that?
Originally it "might" have had a driver's door mirror.
Certainly wouldn't had had a passenger mirror when new.

Other way round - the passenger seat has the moveable headrest so they can have a snooze on your continental roadtrip.

Along with the original Elan , Miura, Dino and 330GTC the most perfectly styled car of the 60s. Or any decade since ...

Hmm, it seems the requirement for two mirrors is much later than I'd thought; I always thought it appeared in the early 60s but it was the late 70s!

So it should pass an MoT like that. smile

Or you could save a lot of money and buy a 4-door Giulia from the same period...

...drives better and costs a huge lot less......

On the plus side, the hype over the Juniors is driving the price up, which is nice.....

P.S. Own 2 GT's - a 1750 GTV and 1600 Junior - and a 1600 Giulia. I much prefer the Giulia smile
