Already saw it at the Techno Classica in Essen Germany on the 7th of April. The interior was a bit shabby but nothing extraordinary.

Would've bought it if I had the money, one of the few cars that seemed to be priced sensibly.

Expected it to be sold right then, right there. Somehow it didn't, but guess what; it's sold now.

What's it trying to be?! It's not a GTA rep, but it's not a GTAm either.

Given what they've done, if it actually went for £35k, they've done very well.

On that basis, the value of my little scalino has rocketed....

GTA Juniors got fitted with big arches like the GTAm had in the early 70s.

So it's trying to be one of those.

And doing a decent job too!

I agree it's a bit of a lash up. The arches make promises the engine and interior can't keep. Looks like a standard 2.0 swap.

Here's mine, standard on the outside, trick on the inside...

The ad says €1300 but they will also consider offers.

Quite obvious, isn't it.......

EU asking prices on Gtam replicas are all over the place, but a well build one isn't cheap.

Your obviously trying to be smart Fungus, but it's a different marketplace.

And what does Alfaholics charge for a restored Scalino or Gtam replica.....

Ha, me too. Love that site. You know you've got a problem when you're looking at roll cages for a car you don't own! smile

About three times what they're asking for that.

I could do with those, and then I could have two with headrests!.
€1300 is about €1000 more than I would want to pay for those though hehe

I've bought one of their cars, best purchase I've made in a long time!

Can't wait for some roadtrip or trackday in it!! It is one of the most involving cars I've had!

You sound like a fun chap to have a pint with....

This is literally, as another poster commented a stock 1300 jnr, with arch extensions and a stock 2 litre swap. It's not a "restored scalino" or a "GTAm replica".

I don't think it's very fair to the Alfaholics guys to compare their output with this...

^^ This.

It's a stock 1300 Jnr which at some point has had a 2l swap (many, many cars over the years have had this, try and find an original 1300!)

Then £1000 of these -> http://www.alfaholics.com/browse-parts-by-car/105-...

And then £500 of these -> http://www.alfaholics.com/race-performance/alfahol...

And some nice paint!

Not saying it's not a nice car, not saying it's not worth £35k (I hope it is!) but it's not a GTAm replica, and it's nothing like the work Alfaholics do on a GTA-R.

Yeah, you can get a GT86 for 10k less............
Drive a period 105 Junior or GTV and come in again: these cars - whilst properly set up - are so engaging and inspiring, a drive in a modern RWD would feel like an insult to cars.

Davids 1300 J upgraded to 1750 GTV spec. This pic was 2 years ago. When I last drove it in November 2015 it went like a dream. The sound, the shift, the go, the balance... wow. Bologna Webers love.

Have to say I'd chose yours in an instant over the one in the article. #bloodylovely

It's all immaterial anyway as
a) I can't afford one currently, and
b) It's now sold.

Absolutely gorgeous. Just oozes Italian styling and passion that has sadly long since gone. I'd love an Alfa from that era.
