Heck... you can buy 3 Dacia's with that price differential. The M4 will get an new ahole if you compare it to something exotic...
If you are going to do a comparison... make it a fair one.
Heck my old Vet C6 Z06 whoops 99.9999999% of all cars around the Nurburgring.
It is the obvious choice then... right????

But that's what you need to spend on the Mustang IMO to make it what it should be in the first place http://www.roushperformance.com/vehicles/mustang-2...
...or $22K, for 670HP, fk me why did I move back!

I worry about the size. I see a (previous gen) model around here fairly often and it seems huge for a sportscar. But then I'm always amazed by the girth of most sports cars, especially Ferraris, these days. They're all just too big.
I wonder what all the Mustang Vs ??? stories will choose to line up against it.
Having seen a few now they don't seem too big.I wonder what all the Mustang Vs ??? stories will choose to line up against it.

Does anyone actually buy any of the cars above and worries about MPG? I would think not.
Not initially .. but there's going to be some who will start to feel the reality hit after a while at 20 mpg. The UK Mustang came along at a time when we were seeing fuel at a £1 a litre .. which was never going to last and we are already seeing it creeping upwards. 300bhp/ton said:
I would imagine their UK targets are pretty low and maybe artificially restricted in an attempt to keep interest and residuals higher. It's often better to have more demand than cars available, than the other way round, unless you are talking vast quantities.
That said, on my daily commute, I'm surprised at how many RHD Mustangs I've seen in such a short period of time. Obviously this means little in real numbers. But I do try and make an effort to be observant. Think I've seen more RHD Mustangs, than I've seen 5th Gen Camaro's over the past 5-6 years.

Why is anyone comparing the GT to the M4 when the direct competitor is the GT350 of which is a totally different animal to the GT?
GT350 isn't competition to anything in the UK all the time Ford doesn't sell them there !vz-r_dave said:

But an ST isn't exactly fast? You need to drive an 911, F-Type and the other stuff you are quoting quite frankly.
This conversation is very similar to watching Labrinyth for the first time.
you have heard the term "fast ford" right? It's pretty much applied to an awful lot of Fords... Fiesta RS turbos barely set the world alight but it's still classed as a "fast ford". Or maybe that isn't your area of expertise, as quite clearly, you really do take life faaaar too seriously. This conversation is very similar to watching Labrinyth for the first time.
And don't worry, I have I'd love to say I'd go for a manual 911 Turbo (although I've only driven the 997 back when it was new, so obviously I should go test a new one) although I did love the F-type, completely obscene in terms of noise, which suits me just fine. Tbh I'd probably just get an Alpina B3 Biturbo wagon and a nice Mustang GT for funsies.
Oh and Maybe you should try a nice ST? I've heard they're more fun than disagreeing with a guy you've never met on the internet...

So are these American cars temping you a bit these days? Are you in a part of the US where you can make use of cars like this?http://www.roushperformance.com/vehicles/mustang-2...

Although if I'm perfectly honest, I'm not actually as keen on this new Mustang (or the Camaro), I don't actually like how they look
