We've done Top 100's before.

This time. What is in your opinion, the best or your favourite 4wd/AWD performance car... EVER?

Rules:

-Must be or have been a genuine production car the public could buy/have bought

-Must be AWD of some kind

-Performance focused, as in road and speed performance.

Nominations:

-You can vote for as many cars as you like, however you may only vote for a particular car only once.

-Please try and be specific to model, variant or year if the car has undergone many variations and generations.

-Reasons why you nominate that vehicle {optional if you can't be bothered}

To get the ball rolling....

Jensen FF, because it was really the first of this ilk. Oh and it looks great and has a wonderful V8 engine biggrin

Bit sweeping hehe

You've got the likes of a 959 and RS200 and Evo VI to consider at least.

I'm going 959.

No, no, no, infidel!!! Lalalala I can't hear you.

Also, point of order, that Interceptor is a Series III. The FF had been abandoned by that time.

Nissan GTR

In road performance terms, one of the fastest cars ever made. It can out launch and out corner 98% of cars out there. Engineered to perfection and easily tuneable!

So no Pajero Evos and LM002s?

They don't meet the 'fast road' requirement really.
I think they probably do. If you wanted to vote for one, then I certainly wouldn't object.

Some of the Bowler stuff
Less keen on including these. As they are really only built for racing and are arguably just a modified production vehicle (even if heavily modified). For instance, Bowler don't build Defenders or Range Rovers, they modify them into competition vehicles and then sell them.

I'm torn between two -

The Nissan Skyline R34 Nismo Z-Tune which is the pinnacle of the R34 family. It looks amazing, handles brilliantly and is still more eye catching than the newer GTR's.

Or, for pure outright power vs everyday usability (and I'm a little biased) - The Audi RS6 V10. It may have zero steering feel, look like a amazon frog with a straw up its backside and feel it's weight in tight corners but, for <£2k on tuning parts, you have 750hp & 750lbs/ft in a car that can demolish "sports" cars in a straight line and still take a fridge to skip minutes later with equal ease.

Just checked. It's 1 of only 15 series IIIs made as an FF. My bad...

Lamborghini Gallardo

It's a small AWD Lambo with a V10 and an open-gate manual 'box. I'll even go for the convertible version too.
