Everybody involved is stupid.

The young girl who done this obviously and this may sound harsh but the victim who was crashed in to is the one with a lawsuit against snap chat. Why?

It was the oxygen thief driving who is the problem here not snap chat.

Before those who join in say why have an app that can record speed then why have a car that can reach them.

I am not anti speed just common sense.

Indeed, the girl is a moron of the highest order, should be in prison really. However suing Snapchat? That's just part of the culture in America.

She is a horrible little child. However suing Snapchat (I'd love it if Snapchat didn't exist!) is just "ooh, I can sense some easy money."

The people suing Snapchat are just as bad. Just in a different way.

It may've originated in US, but it's alive and flourishing here too.

I have nothing but sympathy for this guy, yeah fine suing snapchat is a non-starter.

All i can feel is just a sadness at how far people are sinking with this whole selfie-culture bull. I really do think the self obsession with some and their love affair with their phone camera is pathetic.

On the right track though - phones that do more than make and receive calls haven't added much of value to society as far as I can see.

The names of the people involved are both made up surely? Christal McGhee and Wentworth Maynard. Americans, eh?

+1 mate. I absolutely loathe this "selfie" culture. When did people become so pathetically self-absorbed? I must admit, I feel like I have an inner-battle to restrain myself from shoving their phones where the sun don't shine every time I see another sad little cow taking a photo of themselves. Everyone wants to be a celebrity these days....
