The ST has more power despite having the smaller engine! As already explained, The ST has 200hp when you put your foot down (maximum power at maximum throttle, like all cars), that's why its advertised as 200hp in the states.JoeMarano said:

Soo many people trying to find the genuine middle ground of "dude, we get it, you love your Polo, it's a good car, it's just not as good as others" but somehow that isn't enough. And I thought me babbling on about my FiST was bad...

Seriously though, on topic, I kinda thought the Cupra and Megane would've been a bit closer than that. I know they are in the dry but I guess if you can't get on the power in the damp then that's where they lose it.
That said, all of these on the same spec tyre, on a dry track with the same decent driver is something I'd really like to see (but never will).

A BMW 340i M sport wagon is £35k with 3000 miles and at 6 months old... Heavier, but more practical and "with a chip" who knows?! lol
