My gf saw it earlier, it's a marketing stunt or someone wanting the car to go viral. It'll be in the Metro tomorrow no doubt.

I call fake - I would imagine it's not easy to spray paint neat writing, and there's not a single run. I couldn't manage that.
Along with the fact its very publically parked and a person who owns this can afford a black cab whilst someone else sprays it clean.
Surely the easiest method is that this is in fact white wrap and they'll just peel it off again. Car untouched. It's a fugly thing, but each to their own.

If you put "Range Rover" into a twitter search, its in the top searches.

Lots of speculation on Twitter now that it's a stunt but nothing confirmed out there yet.

This is what you do if your gold wrapped piece of junk isn't getting enough attention for your liking I suppose.

I like how everyone (particularly the girl power brigade on other websites) jumps to the conclusion that the car's owner is male and/or the spray can wielding vandal is female...
And that's if it is real and not a publicity stunt

I reckon publicity stunt, look at all the people who are now looking at a Revere Range Rover now that it says all this st on it
Seriously? How would that play?

Revere - we make perfectly good cars look like crap. So if you have a small man syndrome and cheat on your partner then call us in and for a substantial fee we can make you look a even bigger dick than you do already.

It is also parked illegally.

If this is a publicity stunt they need a new agency
INWB you are a total gent. Unfortunately, I suspect neither cheating on your partner nor parking illegally these days are seen as sufficiently bad things to offset the enormous publicity this will generate. In fact, my guess is these were seen as the type of behaviours that buyers of this particular product might even see as somewhat aspirational. Or put another way, am guessing not too many vicars buy Reveres...

This popped up on my face-ache last night - a detailing company 'searching for the owner' and 'offering to clean it off for free' as 'no man deserves that'.

Pretty clever bit of viral marketing.

Confirmed it was a PR stunt (obviously)

'Girlfriends Guide to Divorce' on Bravo...or #GG2D on twitter!

Don't know anything about it but it seems to have worked anyway...!

By the looks of things, three different cars were like this, all parked around London with the same writing on them.

Blatant publicity stunt and it's worked really well; loads of people have bought it hook, line and sinker.
Def stunt I think. You wouldn't leave it there for 2-3 hours as the news is reporting. I bet Revere are grinning from ear to ear.

Either way monstrosity of a car. I'd only have it in yellow boxedin

From dictionary.com:

Revere: verb (used with object), revered, revering.
1. to regard with respect tinged with awe; venerate:

Really?

Its funny how if it happens to a man's range rover, all the feminists and other left wing bds cheer the perpetrator on, but if it was a man that did it to a woman's ford fiesta that would be shocking, misogynistic, poor-hating, etc

Doesn't matter really whose car it is, it's the fact that some (a surprising amount) people's views on it change depending on who they perceive the owner to be.

The most cringey are the White Knights on Instagram etc reposting it and hashtagging feminism. Nothing dried up a vagina quicker.
