Oh go on then, might help pass the time.

Explain, giving examples if you would be so kind.

The General Lee had no doors. The Charger in Bullett had two doors. So taking the only two known muscle cars, the average number of doors is one.

I don't see how he can say "usually" when the vast majority are 2 door. Unless you have taken his comment out of context and he was referring to a certain time period.

The original is in the define hot hatch thread. Page 6.

Judge for yourself if the context is appropriate or any time period was mentioned.

This; you get used to it. Where does the original quote in the OP come from? Had someone else opened a What Car? thread asking for a shed, 4-door station car, and 300 chipped in with the usual "have you considered a 707bhp Charger Hellcat?"

No. One is black and the other is very clearly not. wink

I guess you could add the TransAm from Smokey and the Bandit, the A Team Corvette and Kitt but the average number of doors is still less than 2. biggrin

I don't see anyone else who's posts you're going through and fact checking, what point are you trying to make here? Is it just a general attack on someone who's opinions you don't agree with? How old are you?

Don't be daft, the General Lee is a Challenger

Oh and I think 'IBTL' is the convention for these threads isn't it?

Caught myself out. I did post a reply saying I meant 4 seats, not doors. But I deleted it, as it was a reply to MarshPhantom containing other comments unrelated to muscle cars.

The reason I deleted it was I had subsequentially replied to this person with a more constructive comment. Forgetting I'd added in a one liner of

"apologies, I meant 4 seats, not 4 doors, my bad".

Sadly, however out of all the info posted in that thread, the only thing you seem to have read was a typo and are now trying to labour it as some vital proof or somewhat rolleyes

Don't get me started on the Thunderbird fiasco. Even a 4 litre V8 and appearance in a 2003 James Bond film couldn't save this pile of dross,
It was a 3.9 not a 4.0 litre.
2.5% matters! smile Although it seems 50% doesn't...

A.I don't see anyone else who's posts you're going through and fact checking - I would have done the same to anyone

B.What point are you trying to make here? - I'm bored and would like to debate this. Isn't that what a forum is for?

C.Is it just a general attack on someone who's opinions you don't agree with? - See point A

D. How old are you? - I'm old enough not to start enquiring about other people's ages online.

Please feel free to abuse me some more. I like the attention.

It's the moustache and hat which truly define a muscle car,

I think this thread proves that I read you posts rather more thoroughly than you do.

Thread over I think.
