The outside is great, the form follows function, but with an artistic flair. The interior just leaves me cold, way too bling.

So I'm hoping that you're not being sarcastic because I actually think these really do look quite special.

Not a fan, it's got an ugly fish face.

I'll get back to you when I've worked out my own suggestion.

For me...

'Unattainable' - Alfa 8c...

'Attainable' - then a Lotus Elise (the last shape i.e. the 's2.5' if you like)

That is stunning. But so far away from beautiful.

I wasn't being sarcastic - as a real world, your mum might drive it car, this is tremendous.

The Pagani is handsome. In the supercar category I prefer the less cluttered and more menacing look of the Lamborghini Huracan.

Also...

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Jaguar F-Type

Mustang GT 350

It's difficult to agree on one truly beautiful car, as regulation has all but ended the dominance of design. At least for most cars.

I'm not saying that there is no design and no beauty. However, these attributes have taken a back seat, if you will, to a chunky sort of universal form factor. Not always. But perhaps too often.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What do you like ? (modern or old ?)

I think beautiful would need to be pretty and elegant. So not in your face, not wild, not too OTT, not bland and not dull, not too aggressive. It should be a balanced designed, somewhat dainty even.

It's a fine line. And hard to pull off at the best of times. But near impossible for most modern cars and current legislation.

I think the Bristol Fighter has most of the items ticked. It's a pretty, elegant car with classic lines.

In the more attainable world. The Citreon C6 is a pretty car.

The Alfa 4C doesn't do a bad job of beautiful either, for a modern car.

Now, there are lots of great looking and stunning modern cars. But few of them are pretty.

Sorry. I thought this was the brief: "the most beautiful modern car today"

If this thread is about any car -- new or old -- then the answers are many and immediate. And possibly too numerous for all but the longest of threads.

I think the new Ford GT is stunning, but I have to say I like the headlight treatment on the race version much more than that on the "street" version.

The rest of it is impressive - but the top view is stunning. There's no reason to spend time and effort on it - nobody's ever going to see it - but it's just breathtaking.
