Each to his own. Is this your idea of a supermodel?

(Yes I know it is a bloke in a fat suit but I thought if I uploaded a picture of a real, naked, morbidly obese woman the moderators might have a sense of humour bypass).

I think this thread is highlighting how ugly modern cars are (in general).

Probably the DB9 amongst reasonably mainstream, modern looking cars although I'm sure there's some retro/replica kit cars which are prettier because they're based on something from the 60s.

The Huayra is awful to my eyes. I was never a big fan of the Zonda's styling and the Huayra was aesthetically a step backwards for me.

I like some of the detailing in Paganis from a purely pleasing engineering perspective but agree that it's hard to see beauty in the shapes.

Most modern cars seem to lack 'correct' proportions and it makes so many of them look awkward, or just fat. DB9 and most recent Aston's seem to work except I hate the Rapide (again it's those proportions). The F-Type has good proportions though I don't love all of the fussy details.

If you can call them modern, Morgan still turn out some good looking cars.

True, there's some lovely little bits of design but the overall car is a mess, IMO.

Absolutely epic cars, but not beautiful imo. The technical marvel of each part (and some of the parts themselves are beautiful, the wing mirrors for example) is amazing, but as a whole it's too jagged and fussy imo.

Most modern cars are too over-styled to be beautiful, the classic, smooth lines are gone.

The F12TdF for example is a fantastic-looking thing, but not beautiful just as a form.

I think these are quite beautiful modern car. Still a step backwards from stuff in the 60s or 70s.

Oh and the latest variant may look more modern and racy, but less pretty too.

The Mazzer I slowly followed down the A11 a couple of weeks back, then slowly overtook it, then sat in front of it for a while.. looked stunning and beautiful, but don't know which model it was, although it looked fairly new.... beautiful in the flesh and from every angle cloud9

The Alfa 4C doesn't do a bad job of beautiful either, for a modern car.

Now, there are lots of great looking and stunning modern cars. But few of them are pretty.

Of course not the prettiest car, but not a bad angle IMO. I know there is a new one out, but that's not half as well resolved as this.

Another vote for F-Type coupe here. I saw a lovely bright red manual one parked up yesterday and actually crossed the car park to have a better look. I wouldn't do that for many other modern cars.

Yuck, another modern abortion suffering from an excess of swage lines. Beautiful means not styled like Krytens head.

I'm Struggling to like any modern car. The only ones I like are the likes of Dodge Charger, Mustang and Camaro and that's because they are based on the classic design.

This is pretty special IMO bandit
