It's a lovely looking thing but I don't think "beautiful" is really the right word for any muscle car. They're too... masculine to be described beautiful, IMO.

I dunno, from a quick think of what you can buy new everything seems a bit too edgy and blingy. The nearest things might be the DB11, that coupe Jag a few posts back, Aventador (in a strange way) and, shock, the Tesla Model S! Certainly nothing nowadays like the Murcie, 599, 159 (yes!) of years not that far gone.

Just for a moment I thought it might have been the new TVR reveal as it reminded me a bit of the concept images.

Gotta say after Goodwood the other week and looking the variety of cars on show I wasn't taken with the looks of many of the modern cars. After the classics they all look too boxy and square. I really like the F-Type at launch but looking at it now, and seeing it together with its grandfather I am not so sure.

Not sure there is a truely 'beautiful' looking modern car really.

I'll go with one of the best proportioned IMO

There's something about the new Tesla S because of that front end

Perhaps not beautiful, but it's one of the most striking designs of recent times, that single swoop on the side is an instant classic and very Bugatti

Not a very popular car... but I like the C8 Preliator

Ftype V6 coupe is a very pretty thing

The Boxster spyder is very pretty also

Maserati Gran Turismo... lovely stuff

and that's it. Pretty much every other car on sale is either bland, boring, vulgar, derivative, offensive or just plain ugly.

The sad thing is that soon it's going to be replaced by an over designed monstrosity.

Still the best looking modern car on the road. Always been an Aston fan but the DB11 looks all wrong to me.

I think Porsche has done wonders with the 991 styling tweaks inside and out. Ive never been that much of a fan but both the current 911 and Cayman are really nice cars aesthetically.

Are we just including cars in production? The Alfa 8C is probably the best proportioned and most beautiful car made in the last 20 years but really let down by the interior. The DB9 is better allround.

The current suggestions are quite off center. The new Range rover is better looking than all that Merc estate and muscle car nonsense.
