Thread resurrection! My girlfriends Fiesta ST is going back and she is having a look at these so I'm having a read of these old threads, I just wanted to say that the orange looks awesome imo.
It would be interesting to get a comparison! never driven a 208 but currently lease an ST

I drove a standard gti yesterday - much more comfortable, although I didn't get the chance to properly give it the beans, sadly. I would love to give them a go back to back!

Have people taken delivery of their Pugs yet?
I'm going for a test drive in one this Saturday. The prices now are under 18k with dealer miles on which is really good.

If it drives right I may be tempted. Big decision though as I currently have a Focus RS mk2. I'm thinking I want something more discreet that doesn't attract attention. Not sure if i'll miss the power or noise though!

I have a 208 GTI by Peageot Sport. 16 Plate. Great little car - feels part of you when you drive it.. sounds odd, but the clutch is light and its great to work the gear box. Grips amazing. On a road with many bends, it feels so planted and there are not many cars which will keep up. Feels very connected. Fuel is very reasonable. Driven carefully 45 mpg, mixed driving 40 mpg. Had an M135, whilst allot quicker not half as much fun and its easier to control the speed in the 208. The ride can be a bit hard. Front seats, very comfortable even for someone reasonably prop like in stature! A good alternative to common German motors.
