Shame it isn't a dualie to boot ... Love it smile
Why would you want it as a dually? confused

1500's have never been duallys anyhow. It's a big like saying a shame the MX-5 hasn't got an estate boot and tailgate.
Doesn't matter, it's big offensive and in fk you yellow ... Who wouldn't want to add 2 extra wheels to the rear along with massive oversized arches etc... just make the Eco warriors even more angry!

Plus everyone knows 6 wheels are better than 4 haha
Wouldn't be difficult to do.
Yes it would. Duallies have an 8' pickup bed to accomodate the length of blisters needed for the wheelarches, and have much beefier suspension and rear axles. They are also a lot wider and a LOT taller than a 1500 . They are made to carry tons of payload, and it is a factory option generally on 3500 heavy duty models upwards. Think of a 3500HD dually as a 7.5ton truck with a pickup body dropped on it - thats basically what it is.
A 1500 model has the short 6' bed and is much smaller all round - about the size of a new Q7. Some of the modern ones like this new dodge also have coilsprung independent suspension rather than the leafsprung live axle of a dually.

LHD not an issue but if it really is you can get it converted using an Australian TWR kit , only problem then is that it needs a second mortgage to pay for it! Clive Sutton does them in London.

For a car you can't buy in the UK? confused

For the record, no. We just thought it was cool.

Cheers,

Dan
I think it's cool too, and a lot more fun than most of the cars you read about today. Such a shame so many PH'ers would rather read about a silver Golf.
+1
