I disagree. There are lots of unobtainable bits. Unfortunately people will break them because they have a slow puncture, so there is a plentiful supply of used parts.
So you disagree because you agree and then disagree with yourself - well done, keep taking the tablets!!!Note: scrapyards are KEENLY aware of the rare bits and price them accordingly - so as I said, drive it until it breaks and then get something else.

"one lady owner".
The lady owner had enough money to buy a new car 12 years ago, which means she's likely to be in her late 40s now.
Since ladies in their late 40s don't really install loud exhaust in their cars for fun, we can safely assume it's been driven mostly by two teenage sons, none of whom bothered to check the oil level between scheduled services.
And how did they manage to squeeze only 174bhp from a 2.5V6 in 2004?
Haven't you heard of finance? To get the car you really want, it could be the only way.The lady owner had enough money to buy a new car 12 years ago, which means she's likely to be in her late 40s now.

Didn't you read the bit about the old exhaust rusting through which isn't surprising for any car. It wouldn't have been possible to get a replacement part for a saloon MG ZS 180 so the stainless steel exhaust would have been the only option.
