Someone posted this yesterday, worth a watch. Both cars are quick and good fun to drive... its just a matter of taste!

Thanks for posting.

The CTR is more exciting, more involving, and despite the tyres not being track orientated, it's quicker.

It really is a very good drive.

A colleague at work traded in his MK2 RS for a MK3. Hated it so got rid after a week! Apparently it didn't 'feel' as fast/fun as the MK2.

I'd say it was quicker, but definitely not as much fun as the Mk1 or Mk2. It's a different car, with the steering and 4wd.

Is it fk lol its a very nice car albeit one where the brakes are utterly useless on track (although what car that doesn't cost a fortune has decent standard brakes)

Here you go £149 month , £1324 up front and 8000 miles per year.

To be honest it looks alright compared to a focus st at £214 month.

So you reckon and abarth 500, seat ibiza cupra, 208 gti, fiesta st, clio 200 all would survive on a 21 degree day with their standard brakes?

Highly doubt that one especially as the Polo has bigger brakes than most of them!

If the other cars are lighter there's less mass to slow down so they might not need bigger brakes?

Isn't that how they built the car in the first place?

Nope. One trackday of kerb riding in sport mode and still all solid. Ask a Fiesta ST owner that question smile
