Crazy, are you really going to keep posting on pistonheads Joe?

On topic, in my years I've not had a ctr but 2 x DC2s, 3xDC5s and an S2000 so I get the love for Hondas.

I slowly went on to VW/Audi hot hatches, can't really compare as there was a good age difference,
the Hondas became hardwork as an everyday car, you had to be in the mood to really enjoy them.

I think I naturally enjoy arguing with people....or something. This will be my last post on this thread though. It's kind of got me remembered now haha

Just saw that Tyronne Johnson, lead designer of the new RS, received AutoCar's "Automotive Engineer of the Year Award". Congratulations Tyronne!

A number of reviewers agree with you. Nearly word for word. Saying things like, "You really need to grab it by the scruff of the neck and thrash it, to get the most out of it.

What you "...do don't get...", (your words, not mine) is the effect of active yaw control. That's a little surprising from a former EVO pilot. Everything you said is true for AWD that can't individually overspeed the rears. But AYC changes that equation significantly.
No, it doesn't. My point is how many prople seem to think they have more grip due to AWD. They don't seem to know the difference between grip and traction.

I'm quite an animal lover though but yeah if someone was coming I would have had to crush them poor buggers!
Really terrific to know how you feel about animals. I didn't know this was the "duck" thread.
Please, give us a break with your autobiography. The CivicR is interesting. The Focus RS is interesting. Matt's review is interesting. Your life story isn't.
Please stay on topic.

Apparently you were unaware that he was the Engineer that won AutoCar's award for the one of the cars we are discussing. Couldn't be more on topic.

Nope, I was aware as you posted just that.

It's annoying though isn't it when someone repeats themselves? < This question doesn't require an answer.

Yes. I'm a big fan of the RS, and I enjoy people's insights on it, and on its competitors.

That's my picture I took of my old car! haha BTW that's a 2005 car. For some reason I can't explain when you google Fiesta ST 2009 that photo comes up, it appears in my site logs all the time.

It wasn't the best car but I did like it a lot, not as much as the V8 that replaced it though.
Lol I know it's a 2005 car but this was the ST for sale in 2009.

I will admit to saying the Fiesta ST is slow
You mean the car that is faster than your unbeatable Polo is slow? I'm now very confused.
Looking forward to the day he plays with an ST and is shown what the Polo is missing. I reckon I'll be able to hear his jaw hit the floor from here
He won't play he already knows so he'll let the ST go & he'll touch the dash instead laugh

Polojoe showing a twingo what a real manly car his polo is. Genius.
One of the best lines: He's probably intimidated by my Daytime Running Lights rofl

Then the next best bit after he's got the corner completely wrong & almost crashed into the grass verge: His line was so bad through that corner whereas I lifted off to tuck the nose in!!!! roflrofl

Joe come & explain your way out of this laugh
