The Focus RS is really quite poor. Fine if you like your driving abilities to be flattered and have never owned or driven a proper driver's car.
It is short sighted to think it is some amazing machine that somehow makes all other cars look a bit silly, as some seem to believe.
Eariler you posted suggesting this thread should be closed. Why follow it up with a comment that can only be blatant trolling? It is short sighted to think it is some amazing machine that somehow makes all other cars look a bit silly, as some seem to believe.
It's all just people trying to windup purchasers of the cars now. Constant trolling.
They are crap cars according to a few idiot posters accounts, totally contrary to ALL reviews. Just ridiculous.
I am now forced to click the ignore button on this thread which is about a car I am buying which is sad as it has just filled up with cocks that are not and will not ever consider buying the cars. Apparently it doesn't interest them yet they are trolling on here every day. How very sad.

Of course you can as you have actual experience by looking at it and if that is your truthful opinion, I think it looks great.. Just as I and everyone else in the World are allowed to criticise the CTR for looking like a piece of Halfords tat from 10 years ago.
It's actually painful to watch this.rb5er said:

There's still time to cancel the order btw.
Why would I want to cancel the order of an absolutely brilliant car? To appease some internet bellends? No thanks, obvious troll is obvious.
You like the focus and have bought one why do you have to convince everyone else it's the right choice?

You mean to say..... It might not be?You like the focus and have bought one why do you have to convince everyone else it's the right choice?
HERETIC!
PS: Drove the Civic in the wet yesterday and managed not to die in a ball of flame, genuinely surprised I'm still alive tbh.
Trying to talk my missus into a Peugeot 208gti (30th edition) to replace her Fiesta ST and she actually asked "what is the Polo GTI like? I heard those are good!".
No dear, just no. Had to chuckle though.
In all seriousness she can drive whatever she likes.

Back on topic, the FRS is a very decent car. No more, no less. A bit of a jack of all trades etc. Which is probably what many people on here want.

She has her eyes set on a few different motors, it's her choice really - I got her hooked on little, quick hatch backs when I bought the Clio 200 Cuo I had. I could barely get hold of the bloody keys as she liked it that much!
After weeks of searching for the right spec, my other half has ended up in a pristine Megane 250 cup. She was all for it after having been in my old one. I am insured of course.. JoeMarano said:
The Polo Gti IS good just depends what you want the car for...
I'd probably be turned off the RS in a year or so when every single car at a event is a baby blue Focus RS. They will be everywhere mark my words!
She wants something reasonably focused and fun so I told her to look elsewhere I'd probably be turned off the RS in a year or so when every single car at a event is a baby blue Focus RS. They will be everywhere mark my words!
Have to agree on the Focus, the blue will be everywhere imo (in so far as a car of this production volume can be anyway).
Mine would be grey, or black, if that is available.

Have to agree on that one. Although I was happy to sacrifice the 10% or so of focus for an extra 20% of comfort Have to agree on the Focus, the blue will be everywhere imo (in so far as a car of this production volume can be anyway).

In the two months I've had it I'm doing one track evening in the next few days so I don't really buy into the whole "it needs to be focused" thing unless it's a dedicated track car or weekend car.
