I think my Type R should have had a better looking key out of the factory, its no different to the keys on the low end models. Even my work colleagues 07 poverty spec Focus has a flip key.

Also it seems Ferrari's tend to have very generic basic looking keys. Here is a 458 one, I thought a supercar would have a more special looking key than this. I guess its goldness makes up for it slightly.

I've always thought the same, it's like the key is an afterthought for most manufacturers ... Vauxhall have excelled in this though for years and had flip keys since the Corsa C was released

Unfortunately not - no folding or flipping key - the one on the left just deactivates the immobiliser. The key is similar to the old hexagonal Ford keys.

A somewhat underwhelming part of TVR ownership.

Almost feels like the key should come with its own spoiler.

Flip keys are ste. It just makes for a bigger, bulkier key. My MR2 Turbo had the best set, a slim key and a USB sized stick to deactivate the immobiliser on the dashboard.

My S1 elise used an older vauxhall generic key. Its just a flat key with flat plastic end.

They should have just combined the two.

Early Bugatti Veyrons shared the key from the Mk4 golf and many other VAGs

My Camaro has a small key for the doors and a bigger one for the ignition. Oh and a key for the alarm/remote central locking.

Yep. Lambo logo on the bottom and 'Lamborghini' written on the back.

I think the Ferrari key looks very classy.

That's a BMW key with Land Rover written on it.
