Any questions for Les Edgar?

So when are PH going to publish the responses to the questions asked if your interview was last week? or is there an embargo on it, linked to an official announcement perhaps?
Good point. I, for one, am really wanting to know the answer to this question:MrBarry123 said:
Please ask him whether he likes Heinz Beanz with Pork Sausages and if he does, whether he likes them hot or cold?

Are you going to stop making chassis out of cheese and having them painted by Dave in a shed by the sea?

They're releasing that artists impression, again, in a different colour this time, designed to coincide with some Welsh Government fantasist having shooed some sheep off a bit of wet wasteland and claiming the Monaco Grand Prix is about to relocate there and create another billion jobs.
I wish I had less reason to be so cynical.
I think you're just stating the fking obvious, quite frankly.I wish I had less reason to be so cynical.
This time next year, I am fairly confident that TVR will release a press statement along the lines of, 'Err, yeah, about that new TVR...'
And thereby, TVR will slip back into the murky depths of the Irish Sea, perhaps to be raised again by another fantasist in ten years time. Then it'll be made from hand weaved unobtanium and powered by a billion horsepower bespoke engine, but still be an 'affordable supercar' for the common man.
Meanwhile, pigs will circumnavigate the moon.

Seriously though, I'm more likely to believe their marketing strategy is piss poor rather than not actually bringing at least the LE cars to market, built at GMD rather than S Wales though.

Wow, so much anger... This time next year, I am fairly confident that TVR will release a press statement along the lines of, 'Err, yeah, about that new TVR...'

Problem with messing with the common man is that if they try to do a Phoenix then their cards will be marked, so unless they go off grid in the Andes, it's fair to say their lives could turn ugly very quickly.

I'll ignore the first bit on account that you must know the difference between fraud and bankruptcy; the latter doesn't hold the individual accountable owing to the limitations of liability afforded by a Limited company.Seriously though, I'm more likely to believe their marketing strategy is piss poor rather than not actually bringing at least the LE cars to market, built at GMD rather than S Wales though.
Nope. No self-respecting company with a st-weight of media interest on top of it would dare roll out a "piss-poor" marketing strategy. Not when the company's early survival is dependent on dough-eyed, monied, investa-tts throwing their savings in Les' general direction.
It is, after all, the easiest bit to get right...
Evening all,
Apologies it's taken a while to respond to this - basically we had two hours of chat to digest and transcribe and it's taken a while what with holiday and other commitments. Good news is I've got two pieces prepped off the back of it that'll go live on Sunday and then early next week. I'll probably sling the full transcript up at some point for those interested in how the conversation went. Just figuring out the best way to deploy them.
In short very well though; Les is a genuine and engaging chap and the operations manager John Chasey was equally interesting to chat with. Flattered that they gave me so much of their time and they appreciate the chance to engage with PH.
So, apologies for keeping you waiting. But I hope it'll be worth it and you'll enjoy what comes of it.
Cheers!

I'd appreciate the full transcript. Thank you for getting this sorted! I spent a while listening to Les Edgar fielding questions at the motorshow, and I found him to be very knowledgeable and an enthusiast himself.Apologies it's taken a while to respond to this - basically we had two hours of chat to digest and transcribe and it's taken a while what with holiday and other commitments.
