Any questions for Les Edgar?

Do they plan to support existing TVR owners with parts or are we to rely on the current outlet selling Chinese pattern copies of dubious quality with many parts not available at all. I think if they want to sell me a new TVR they had better demonstrate some support to existing owners or I have a suspicion what my shiny new TVR will be worth in a few years.
Dom, is this you?Windscreens I think are in short supply, not sure other parts are. I've had no issue and I've changed rather a lot on mine recently
no, not Dom
AJP blocks (road version), bell housings, most major castings, windscreens (well pretty much all glass). Most other parts are pattern parts like wishbones etc, some good, many bad. New chassis's, brake calipers nar, forget it. True enough most of these parts can be reconditioned at the moment but that typically leaves my car off the road for days, weeks or even months. My car spent all of last spring and summer having a chassis refurb and then 8 weeks with my rear brake calipers at BG developments as the transfer pipes were on back order with AP. If I could just buy the damn parts from one supplier who had them in stock I would have been enjoying my car instead of driving around pissed off and miserable in an L200.
Just had to have a Cerbera clutch relined as you can't buy plates, only a full really frigging expensive clutch. AP won't sell them as TVR still own the rights apparently. I didn't need a new one as I had a spanking new clutch on the shelf but wanted to use standard plates in place of the paddles it had come with.
Look after your existing customers and they come back. Leave them up st creek without a paddle and they will tell everyone. This is me telling everyone.

What makes Les think he can "Make it work" at this "middle" price point, when historically, no one else has managed to do it??
The sports car market is viable in 4 zones:
1) Hyper cars, Build between 1 and several hundred, but they cost >£1M each so we can juuuuust about afford to develop one if we nick a load of parts from other models in the range (P1,LaLa, 918 etc)
2) Supercars. build perhaps high hundreds to low thousands, they cost between £150K and £300K
3) "Everyday" supercars, build thousands (think 911 turbo etc), they cost between £100K and £150K
4) Mass produced performance, build tens of thousands, between £25k and ~£60k. Thinks like GT86 up to M3s etc. The cheaper it is, the more you have to build, and the more parts/tech must be borrowed from within your other product range
There is one exception, which is the ultrabasic track day market car that can sit between £50K and £80K, but has to be properly basic to cover its costs (Mono, atom etc)
As "new TVR" volumes will be low, there aren't any gaps i can see where you can build a fully featured modern car and have it cost less than about £125k (ish). How does TVR think it can do this??

Back in the previous incarnation, the proposition was Ferrari/Porsche performance for half or two-thirds of the price. As the performance will be similar at best and you need to make money so the price is much higher, what's the compelling proposition now ?
+1Or in my words, who are your competition and why should I buy this car over them (other than the TVR heritage/name bit)?

Will TVR be using the Porsche BMW Ferrari pricing model with options. i.e. for the advertised price you get some old cart wheels and an orange crate to sit on whereas the one in the picture will cost you 50% more but not offer any extra performance.
Also will the purple of the still born Project 7/12 be avalible

1. Where will it be built?
2. How involved has Gordon Murray been involved in the surface or overall design?
3. What is the model range goal in terms of the number of different models?
4. In terms of development cost, tooling and manufacturing costs, how big a % have they saved by using iStream as opposed to a traditional manufacturing facility.
5. Why does he think that traditional and new TVR owners will love it?

1. TVR was seen as the "plucky Brit" alternative to the establishment, providing more performance per pound than the competition, with more than a hint of swagger and bravado. Does the 2016 TVR still meet this ideology?
2. Can we have some pictures of the car?
3. What's the latest on the situation relating to the factory near to the circuit of Wales?
4. Can we have some pictures of the car, please?
5. What cars were used as benchmarks for the new car?
6. Realistically what % chance of success would you give TVR for being here in 10 years? Do you have a plan B if things do not go as planned?
7. Many of the original buyers of TVR's who were Single, POwerfully-built company DirectorS (SPODS), now have managed to find a mate, mate, and now cannot all fit in a 2 seater car. What will the TVR range of 5 years consist of, and will there be anything aimed firmly at these ex-SPODS?
Did I mention those pictures?

1) What are the plans for a dealership network? Volumes are likely to be too low to support more than one or two dealerships, nationally, so is the intention a) to have a very small number of TVR-only dealers or b) sell as an 'add-in' brand through an already-established dealer network or c) dispense with a dealership model altogether and do all sales and service directly from the factory?
2) Depending on the answer to 1) how do we contact Mr Edgar to talk about establishing a dealership?
